Operating instructions Detailed information Further information on the product is given in Section 8 Product specification 3 Intended use Area of use The cabinet lock is suitable for wooden furniture with maximum wood thickness 20mm depending on the type of identifier See following table The lock is mounted on the inside of the furniture in conjunction with the corresponding lock part It is intended for use within the protected interior of a building ES number Transponder Scanning range ES7910 up to 20 mm ES7930 up to 16 mm ES7940 up to 16 mm ES7941 up to 20 mm Other transponders on request Condition of the product Cabinet locks may only be used if they are in faultless technical condition Independent modifications and changes to the product are not allowed Ambient conditions Use on metal furniture or in particularly harsh environments with conditions such as high humidity aggressive gases or extreme temperatures is not allowed If you have any questions please contact OPERTIS Support CAUTION Risk of damage to property The battery operated cabinet lock emits an acoustic battery empty warning signal when the battery power is drawing to an end The battery should then be replaced without delay Ignoring the battery empty warning causes the cabinet lock to remain open all the time It does not close again until a new battery is inserted Rarely used locks should be opened at least once a quarter in order
