1. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR 1293 For Wall Mount Fixture Minka Lighting Inc This product is protected by United States Federal and or WARNING SHUT POWER OFF MOUNTING THE FIXTURE Installation see fig 1 i Disconnect power at main electrical panel before installation Thread the nipple part way into the center hole of the crossbar and secure with hex nut Attach the crossbar to the junction box using two junction box screws The side of the crossbar marked GND must face out Follow wiring instructions carefully see fig 2 Feed the nipple through the hole of the lamp body D screwing the cap nut E from the face side to secure the nipple to the fixture Turn the cap nut and nipple to thread the nipple into the center hole of the crossbar and lock the lamp body D using the cap nut E Place the glass shade C and the check ring B onto the socket of the fixture body D then securely tighten the check ring B using the sleeve A The sleeve A is a tool when the installation is complete it must be taken away Install the light bulbs in accordance with the fixture s specifications DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING FIXTURE WIRES Pare Gard HOE FES WIRES White Neutral Crean or Pare G r Gard State Law including Patent and or Copyright laws AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER Wiring see fig 2 1 Whe o Connect the electrical wires as follows Conn2. ect the Black wire from the fixture to the black house hot Wire Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white neutral house wire Make sure all wire nuts are secured You may wrap the connections with electrical tape If your outlet box has a ground wire green or bare copper connects fixture s ground wire to it Otherwise attach the bare copper fixture wire to the green ground screw on the crossbar Tuck the wire connections neatly into the wall junction box american lighting association SISTES hb Intertek
