Toilets A for something special INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Tools Needed e Level Flathead Screwdriver e Sponge Hacksaw Wrench e Materials Needed e T Bolt e Wax Ring Toilet and Seat Safety Glasses Preparation Shut off the water supply to toilet and remove the remaining water Disconnect the water supply Remove bolt caps bolts and toilet Remove old T bolts and wax seal Use hacksaw to remove the bolts if necessary Add new T bolts Place wax ring evenly around waste flange 2 Lower bowl onto toilet flange 3 Press bowl down on wax ring and flange with a gentle rocking motion until it seats completely and evenly 4 Install washer and nut Alternately tighten until bowl is firmly on the floor DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN 5 Attach cap on top of nut 6 Check to ensure that both nuts on the tank are tight One nut is for the Douglas Valve and one is for the ball cock 7 Connect water supply line with cone washer between valve and tank water inlet 8 Connect water supply line Turn on water Fill flush and check for leakage The toilet tank valve has been preset DO NOT attempt to adjust Tightening the nuts slightly will stop leaks 9 Apply small bead of sealant around base NOTE DO NOT tighten too much or you may damage bowl 12 4 07 P 847 244 1234 www barclayproducts com
