1. SUPPLY CIRCUIT WHITE Z E z O Ground Conductor Outlet Box Green Ground Lead Ground to Downrod Figure 15 CHECK TO SEE THAT ALL CONNECTIONS ARE TIGHT INCLUDING GROUND AND THAT NO BARE WIRE IS VISIBLE AT THE WIRE NUTS EXCEPT FOR THE GROUND WIRE ELECTRICAL DIAGRAMS ARE FOR REFERENCE ONLY OPTIONAL USE OF ANY LIGHT KIT SHALL BE UL LISTED AND MARKED SUITABLE FOR USE WITH THIS FAN Finishing the Fan Installation l Tuck connections neatly into ceiling outlet box Slide the canopy up to hanger bracket and place the key hole on the canopy over the screw on the hanger bracket turn canopy until it locks in place at the narrow section of the key holes Fig 16 Align the circular hole on canopy with the remaining hole on the hanger bracket secure by tightening the two set screws Note Adjust the canopy screws as necessary until the canopy and canopy cover are snug MAKE SURE THE TAB ON THE HANGING BRACKET PROPERLY SITS IN THE GROOVE IN THE HANGER BALL BEFORE ATTACHING THE CANOPY TO THE BRACKET BY TURNING THE HOUSING UNTIL IT DROPS INTO PLACE Outlet Box Hanger gt Bracket QE gt 4 Canopy Cover HA Figure 16 Attaching the Fan Blades 1 Attach the fan blades to the blade holder medallions and blade holders using the screws and rubber washers provided tighten screws secu2. Switch Figure 13 Figure 14 15 Motor to receiver electrical connections Connect the black wire from the fan to black wire marked TO MOTOR L Connect the white wire from the fan to the white wire marked TO MOTOR N from the receiver Connect the blue wire from the fan to the blue wire marked For Light from the receiver Secure the wire connections with the plastic wire connecting nuts provided Figure 15 Receiver to house supply wires electrical connections Connect the black hot wire from the ceiling to the black wire marked AC in L from he receiver Connect the white neutral wire from the ceiling to the white wire marked AC in N from the receiver Secure the wire connections with the plastic wire connecting nuts provided Figure 15 If your outlet box has a ground wire green or bare copper connect it to the fan ground wires otherwise connect the hanging bracket ground wire to the hanger bracket Secure the wire connection with a plastic nut provided After connecting the wires spread them apart so that the green and white wires are on one side of the outlet box and black and blue wires are on the other side Carefully tuck the wire connections up into the outlet box FAN MUST BE INSTALLED AT A MAXIMUM DISTANCE OF 20 FEET FROM THE TRANSMIT TING UNIT FOR PROPER SIGNAL TRANSMIS SION BETWEEN THE TRANSMITTING UNIT AND THE FAN S RECEIVING UNIT DO NOT USE WITH WALL LIGHT DIMMER SWITCH

You may need a longer downrod to maintain proper blade clearance when installing on a steep sloped ceiling The maximum angle allowable is 17 If the canopy touches downrod remove the decorative canopy bottom cover and turn the canopy 180 before attaching the canopy to the mounting plate eT Outlet Box Figure 4 To hang your fan where there is an existing fixture but no ceiling joist you may need an installation hanger bar as shown in Figure 4 available at any Home Depot store 3 Hanging the Fan REMEMBER to turn off the power Follow the steps below to hang your fan properly 1 Remove the canopy cover from the canopy by turning the cover counter clockwise Figure 5 Remove the hanger bracket from the canopy by removing the 1 of 2 screws from the bottom of the hanger bracket and loosening the other one a half turn from the screw head Next turn the canopy counter clockwise to removing the hanger bracket from the canopy Figure 5 Unfold the decorative scroll arms and space them evenly Secure assembly by tightening the screws with the Allen wrench provided Fig 6 Remove the clevis pin cotter pin and set screws from the top of the motor assembly Figure 7 Remove hanger ball from downrod assembly by loosening set screw removing the cross pin and sliding ball off rod Figure 8 Carefully feed motor wires up through the downrod Thread the rod into the coupling Next line
