Snate Installation 1 Attaching the mounting plate to 2 Connecting the electrical the outlet box wires o Mount the mounting plate AA to the outlet box Wrap the ground wire from the fixture around using the two outlet box screws CC the ground screw BB on the mounting plate AA Connect the ground wire from the fixture to the ground wire from the outlet box o Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white wire neutral wire from the outlet box o Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black wire live wire from the outlet box o Cover the three connections using the three wire connectors EE Wrap the three wire connections with electrical tape for a more secure connection o Position the wires back inside the outlet box 5 HAMPTONBAY COM Please contact 855 HD HAMPTON for further assistance Installation continued 3 Securing the fixture to the outlet box o Align the holes on both sides of the mounting plate AA with the holes on both sides of the wall plate D o Place the wall plate D over the mounting plate AA o Screw the mounting screws DD through the holes on the wall plate D into the holes on the mounting plate AA NOTE This fixture can be installed as an up light or a down light 4 Securing the shades o Place the shades B over the sockets C o Screw the socket rings A onto the sockets C to secure the shades B 5 Installing the bul
