INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Item 72434 261 READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS WARNING SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER AVERTISSEMENT COUPER LE COURANT AU NIVEAU DES FUSIBLES OU DU DISJONCTEUR ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE Fig 2 Fig 1 Ss JUREHER BE Carefully unpack new fixture and lay all the parts on a clear surface Ceiling _ 1 Attach fixture loop I by screwing to nipple J 2 Insert front glass N into door M and secure with clips O A 3 Insert back glass P and side glass Q into lamp body K and B secure with clips L C HANGING THE FIXTURE Fig 1 D 1 Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and remove the old E fixture from the ceiling including the mounting hardware F 2 Thread nipple C into loop F until snug 3 Thread the other end of nipple C with loop attached into crossbar D until snug G 4 Place lock washer B over the end of the nipple protruding through the crossbar and secure with hex nut A 5 Attach the crossbar assembly and mount to junction box with junction box screws E Size 8 32N L0 5 6 Using proper chain pliers to open one end link of the chain provided and connect to the fixture loop I Close t2. hased a P Chain HCH2072 261 Gauge D3 8mm Fig 3 CHAIN HUNG FIXTURE INSTRUCTION cas a oo Notice It is important to use proper chain pliers not included To Bl ck or White or Bar OPEN and CLOSE the chain included with this fixture Do not open Smooth gt Ribbed a Copper 2 gt them with other tools that may twist or stress the chain links It is HOUSE HOUSE Ground HOUSE important to use proper chain pliers like the ones shown in the WIRES WIRES WIRES diagram Black White Green or Hot Neutral Bare Copper Ground american eib c us ister Intertek lighting association
3. he link 7 Lace the fixture wires through the chain Set A 016 H 8 By measuring determine the correct number of links needed Crossbar T for proper hanging height Remove and discard remaining Ground Screw ik chain Mounting Screw 2 9 Slip loop collar H over the chain followed by canopy G 10 Open the other end link of the chain and hang the fixture on the Fig 2 loop at the ceiling Close the link 11 Feed the fixture wires through loop F and nipple C CONNECTING THE WIRES Fig 3 J 12 At this point connect the fixture wires as shown in K Fig 3 making sure that all wire connectors are secured If your outlet box has a ground wire green or bare L copper connect the fixture s ground wire to it Otherwise connect the fixture s ground wire directly to M the Crossbar D using the green screw provided 4 Tuck the wire connections neatly into the ceiling outlet Fl box and then raise the canopy G to the ceiling and i N secure with loop collar H to chain loop F I m lee 5 Install the light bulbs not included in accordance with the Oe IL 3 O fixture s specifications DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM n Ty WATTAGE RATING NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE p P NOMINALE MAXIMALE Your installation is now complete Return power to the junction box 4 and test the fixture i Q Note Illustration Fig 1 Fig 2 on this manual is for installation purposes only It may or may not be identical ild 4 to the fixture purc
