CHAIN J ordering parts FIXTURE LOOP K BEFORE YOU BEGIN Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts are included as shown in figure 1 Be careful not to misplace any of the screws or parts which are needed to install this fixture INSTALLATION IMPORTANT DO NOT ATTACH FIXTURE DIRECTLY TO OUTLET BOX STEP 1 K to top of fixture gt oF D Q h x x oO 5 fe ne STEP 2 Secure mounting bar A to outlet box with outlet box screws not supplied Thread nut B on nipple C so that 3 threads are exposed above nut B Thread nipple C into mounting bar A and secure with nut B Attach collar E to nipple C SHADE 6 BOTTOM STEP 3 NIPPLE M Using 2 pairs of pliers or chain breaks open one link of chain J and aa oe SF connect it to the fixture loop K at the top of the fixture Please be sure to open chain link in an outward motion Do not twist Slide the collar ring I and canopy H in that order over chain J Open one link on the other end of the chain J and attach it to the collar E BE SURE TO CLOSE ALL CHAIN LINKS COMPLETELY FIGURE 1 NOT INCLUDED INSTALLATION continued HC 1564 STEP 5 A Use a listed wire connector to connect the fixture hot wire black wire or round and smooth tracer to the supply hot wire B Use a listed wire connector to connect the fixture common wire white wire or square and rigid to the supply commo
3. n wire C Gently try to remove the wires from the connector If you can remove the wires carefully re do the wiring connection STEP 6 GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS Connect the supply ground wire fixture ground wire and mounting bar ground wire pre attached using the supplied wiring connector Gently try to remove the wires from the connector If you can remove the wires carefully re do the wiring connection FINAL ASSEMBLY Make sure no bare wires can be seen outside wire connectors STEP 7 QUTLET BOX _ SCREWS 8 After wires are connected tuck them carefully inside outlet box and then raise the canopy H against ceiling and thread the collar ring I to the collar E NIPPLE C STEP 8 Raise shade G to bottom nipple M from socket and secure by threading hex nut to shade G Raise decorative cup L to shade G and secure by threading finial N to bottom nipple M COLLAR E STEP 9 Install lamp not supplied DECORATIVE CUP L FINIAL N FIGURE 2 WIRE CONNECTORS MOUNTING BAR A NUT B GROUND WIRE F CANOPY H COLLAR RING I CHAIN J FIXTURE LOOP K SHADE 6 BOTTOM NIPPLE M NOT INCLUDED
