1. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ltem 5414 281 New 01 15 2015 READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS WARNING SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER AVERTISSEMENT COUPER LE COURANT AU NIVEAU DES FUSIBLES OU DU DISJONCTEUR MOUNTING THE FIXTURE Fig 1 1 Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and remove Set A 021 220119B l l Mounting Plate the old fixture including the mounting hardware Ground crew 2 Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and Mounting Screw 2 check that all parts are included as shown in the illustration 3 Position mounting plate A on the wall and mark the location of two dry wall anchors J Pre drill the holes for the dry wall anchors Insert the dry wall anchors J into the wall 4 Attach the mounting plate A to the junction box using the Mounting screws B The side of the mounting plate marked GND must face out 5 Place the mounting screw K through the keyhole into the dry wall anchor J to secure the Mounting plate A as shown in Fig 1 CONNECTING THE WIRES Fig 2 6 At this point connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig 2 making sure that all wire connectors are secured If your outlet box has a ground wire green Socket ring SKT RING 26 _ or bare copper connect the fixture s ground wire to E26 Socket Spanner WRH 1 51 it Otherwise connect the fixture s ground wire directly to the mounting plate using the green screw provided After the wires are co2. nnected tuck them Fig 2 carefully inside the junction box FIXTURE FIXTURE FIXTURE WIRES MES RR FINISHING THE INSTALLATION Fig 1 Smoon JR meee IR Copper Ground 7 Place fixture body D over mounting plate A and fasten with Screws C 8 Place the glass shade F followed by metal ring G WIRES over the socket Use tool I and screw shell H to Neutral Ground secure the glass into the fixture body 9 Install the A19 E26 MED BASE light bulb not included in accordance with the fixture s specifications DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE Your installation is now complete Return power and test the fixture l e american ENDES lighting Note Illustration Fig 1 on this manual is for Miaa installation purposes only It may or may not be Intertek identical to the fixture purchased Ka association LA 2444E
