INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR 4234 288 Minka Lighting Inc This product is protected by United States Federal and or State Law wR Patent and or Copyright laws ee Sis AR A She TET a Li ou kir j ba ct pet ula ie if ie pe SHUT ROWER OFF AT FUSE IOR CIRCUIT SSEMBLING THE FIXTURE Fig J Caretully unpack new fixture and lay Surliee Aach the loop A to the fixture body C by turning it clock wise until tight Piace the tube B over the socket of the fixture body C NGING THE FIXTURE Fig 1 Saul off the power at the circuit breaker and remove old fixture irom ceiling including the old crossbar Miread nipple C into loop F until snug liread other end of nipple C with loop attached into crossbar 1 until snug lace lock washer B over end of nipple protruding through crossbar and thread hex nut A onto nipple until tight hike this crossbar assembly and mount to ceiling junction box with junction box screws E Tighten screws securely with Jrewdriver Using proper chain pliers to open one end link of the chain provided and connect to the fixture loop J Close the link Lace the lixture wires through the chain sy measuring determine correct number of links needed for all the parts on a clear proper hanging height Using proper chain pliers disconnect and discard remaining chain Slip loop collar 1 over the chain then do the same with the mopy GA iv Open the othe2. in pliers not stress the chain Jihks It is important to use proper chain pliers like the ones shown inthe diagram _ BREAKER Sif e Junction Box ACeiling CHAIN HUNG FIXTURE INSTRUCTION included To OPEN and CLOSE the chain included with this fixture Do not open them with other tools that may twist or Wa american US 17 lighting i association Gare Intertek
