JUL 12 2011 TUE 18 05 MINKA TAIPEI FAX NO 886 2 26897176 Pe 12 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION FOR FIXTURE 3123 489 WARNING SHUT OFF THE POWER AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER ASSEMBLY THE FIXTURE FIG 2 1 Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts on a clear sraa Take care not to lose any small parts necessary for installation 2 Thread the Loop A onto the Nipple B tightly 3 Install the light bulb in accordance with fixture s specifications DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXMUM WATTAGE RATING MOUNTING THE FIXTURE FIG 1 i Shut off iha power supply at the fuse box or circuit breaker ox Remove the old fixture from calling Including tha croas bar 2 Thread the nipple into the collar loop d until snug 3 Thread the other end of nipple l Into the cross bar F until JUL 12 2011 snug 4 Place lock washar E over the end of nippla l protruding through cross bar f and thread hex nut D onto nippie until tight 5 ao this crossbar assembly and mount to ceiling outlet hox A using outlet box serew H tightly The side of cross bar marked with GND must face out 6 Use a pair of pliers ta open one end link of the chain and connect to the fixture lonp A Clase the link 7 By measuring determina correct number of links needed for proper hanging height Using pliers discannect and discard femaining chajn 8 Lace the fixture wires through the chain 9 Slip collar ringil over the chaln then d2. o the same with canopy i 10 Open the other end link of the chain and connect to the collar lnop F Close tha tink 11 Faad the fixtuya wires thraugh the collar loop J and nipple and pull until taut CONNECTING THE WIRE See fig 3 1 Take the black wire from the ceiling quitet box and the smooth Wire feg from the fixture and twist bare ends together Twist wire connector onto end of wira until snug ernie same process with white junction box wire and ribbe wire lag of fixture wire NOTE Twist wire together in thie same direction then twist the wire connector onto wira 3 lf your outlet box has a grounding wire Green or bare Copper Attach this wire and the bare copper wira from the Fixture togathar as step 1 If outlet box has ne ground wire Attach the bara copper fixture wire to tha green ground gt OVAL BLIBACLOS screw on the crass bar Tuek these wires connectors neatly inte the celling aut let OX and raise the collar ring L and thread onto collar hopi protruding through canopy Your installation is now complete Return pawer to tha junction box and test the fixture
