1. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION FOR 4324 577 WARNING SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER AVERTISSEMENT COUPER LE COURANT AU NIVEAU DES FUSIBLES OU DU DISJONCTEUR READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS MOUNTING THE FIXTURE Fig 1 4 Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and remove the old fixture including the mounting Set A 020 120118 Hanging bracket hardware Ground screw 2 Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and Mounting screw 4 check that all parts are included as shown in the N Junction box screws 2 illustration i 3 Secure the part lI of the decorative arms J to the coupling L with the screws K then secure the part I of the decorative arms J to the L shape iron H with the screws I 4 Secure hanging bracket A to the junction box with the junction box screws B Size 8 32 0 6 L through slotted holes in hanging bracket A The side of the hanging bracket _ marked GND must face out HANGING THE FIXTURE Fig 1 5 Using proper chain pliers open one link of chains F and connect it to the fixture loops G 6 By measuring determine connect number of links needed for desired hanging height 7 Open one link of the other end of the chains F and connect it to the ceiling loops E 8 Lace the fixture wires through the chain links fF and ceiling loop E and pull until taut CONNECTING THE WIRES Fig 2 9 At this point connect the electrical wires as sho2. wn in Fig 2 making sure that all wire connectors are secured If your outlet box has a ground wire green or bare copper connect fixture s ground WRH T1 51 wire to it Otherwise connect the fixture s ground wire directly to the mounting plate using the green screw provided After the wires are connected tuck them carefully inside the junction box COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION Fig 1 10 Raise the canopy D to hanging bracket A and the secure canopy D with mounting screws C Size 8 32 0 3 L 11 Place the glass shade N and cup O over the socket M and secure with the socket ring P with the wrench Q provided 12 Install the light bulb s in accordance with the fixture s specifications DO NOT EXCEED THE SPECIFIED WATTAGE NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE Your installation is now complete Return the power to the if american junction box and test the fixture lighting association Notice It is important to use proper chain pliers not included To OPEN and CLOSE the chain included with this fixture Do not See open them with other tools that may twist or stress the chain 7 links tis important to use proper chain pliers like the ones shown in the diagram
