LED Fixed Rail Luminaires Surface Mount Models ANDF MADF SOLF 120VAC 60Hz Safety Precautions This fixture is designed for use in a 110 120VAC 60Hz fused circuit Read all safety precautions and installation instructions carefully and can be used in conjunction with 2 wire triac dimmers before installing or servicing this fixture Failure to comply with these instructions could result in potentially fatal electric shock and or property damage To reduce the risk of electrical shock and to assure proper operation this fixture must be adequately grounded To accomplish proper grounding there must be a separate ground wire green contact fixture must be wired in accordance with all national and local supply panel electrical codes This fixture is intended to be used for general indoor lighting in dry or Do not handle any energized fixture or attempt to energize any fixture damp locations only with wet hands or while standing on a wet or damp surface or in water ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1 Preparing for installation A Disconnect electrical power at fuse or circuit breaker box before installing or servicing any part of this fixture B Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts are included C Separate the fixture 1 from the gem bar 2 by removing the canopy screws 3 D Mount the gem bar to the junction box 5 not provided using the screws 4 provided 2 Wiring all w2. iring must take place inside junction box Caution Make sure power is off at fuse or circuit breaker w p gt pan A WSA box Check power wires for damage or scrapes If power supply wires are within three inches of the LEF driver power supply use wire suitable for at least 90C 194F Note Most dwellings built before 1985 have supply wire rated to 60C Consult a qualified electrician before Model SOLF330030LSN Shown x installing Connect the power source ground wire to the green or bare copper wire from the fixture assembly Using wire nuts provided connect white supply wire to white fixture lead Connect black supply wire to black fixture lead Do not mix wires Pull on each wire lead to make sure connections are secure Make certain no bare wires are exposed outside of wire connectors Tuck all connections neatly into junction box Mounting Place fixture canopy 1 over the gem bar 2 and align the mounting holes on both sides of the canopy Secure the fixture using the canopy screws Restore power at fuse or circuit breaker box Maintaining diffusers Periodically dust the diffuser inside and out with a clean dry cloth Wipe clean with a damp cloth as needed Never use abrasive cleansers To remove diffuser for cleaning or replacement use the u shaped tool 6 provided to unscrew the retaining ring 7 and remove the diffuser 9 Installation is reverse of removal Limited Factory Warranty AFX Inc warrants
