SECTION PLUMBING INSTRUCTIONS WARNING A plumbing shall be installed by a plumber and conform wiih local amp national codes Materials locally available 308 0D copper tube for the water supply to the generator 73 8 water supply shut off valve supply valve housing and fiter optional depending on local water conditions O D compression to male NPT adapter 102 copper sweat unions 2 2 copper pipe the tank dan V copper pipe and 1 2 female NPT sweat adapter for the steam line between the generator and the steam room 314 copper pipe fittings and a sweat union for the Pressure Relief Valve drain Tube DAP 100 silicone caulk Rectorseal No pipe compound 1 INSTALL WATER LINE Maximum recommend input water pressure not tol cond 100 PS Run 3 8 copper tube between the nearest cold water line andthe WATER INLET ft ng on the generator Locate a shut off valve near the generator Connect his line to the generator with a 3 8 compression adapter When tightening this fiting always use two wrenches so there wil be no strain on the water inlet valve PORTANT the generator is mounted in place dificult for the home owner to acces the water supply shut valve should be located where jt can be quickly accessed in an emergency IMPORTANT Do not use a saddle valve or saddle fiting for the water s

E Slide the steam face onto the insulator unti t rest fly against the finished wall Tighten he hex head underneath the steam head to secure tin place with the allen wrench provided The steam head should be level with its fragrance reservoir at the top Ste diagram 6 IMPORTANT Check all of the standard fixtures in th steam oom AI fature penetrations must be sealed with 100 silicon caulk to avoid moisture damage within walls INSTALL PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE Install the pressure relief valve into its port on the generator The pressure relief valve outlet must drain accordance with local and national codes 6 INSTALL DRAIN VALVE Install 1 2 NPT male sweat adapter directiy into the ankas shown in diagram 2 Installa 1 2 union Run AI copper drain to a gravity flow drain Da not Tun the drain uphil The drain must be connected in accordance with loc and national codes See dia ram 2 Do not connect the overpressure device output into the steam lin Do not connect the drain valve into the steam line Do not mount outdoors Protect trom freezing Unit must be located as to allow access for service The generator will not operate properly unless itis mounted level with the arrows painted up Do not put a shut off valve in the steam line Avoid traps and valleys where water could collect and cause steam blockage The hot steam line must be insulated against user c

ICAL FINISH Materials locally 8 4 Strain relief for supply wire Route the copper supply wire with appropriate strain rel through the hole marked POWER ENTRY B Connect the supply wires to terminals marked Li and 12 T Connect the ground to the ground lug green soraw 5 INSTALL GENERATOR CONTROL K30 60 KTBO The low voltage controls can be mounted directiy to finshed wal eter Inside or outside the steam oom with the exception of the KTBO contral which must be mounted inside the steam room Using 2 2 hole saw dril a hole in the finished wali where the control i to be mounted the contral cable should already be roughed in to this location With the decorative cover removed from the control switch assembly insert the control mounting screws through the control housing may need to punch through skinned holes andscrew 1 4 intothe mount ing bracket Locate th control cable and plug t imo the back of the contral housing See diagram 8 Run a ead of 100 silicon caulk in between the 2 ridges around the perimeter on the back of the control housing See diagram 9 Insert the mounting bracket into the wall cavity by first pushing with the control housing and then with a hard fat suce on tne housing mounting screws which extend out rough the control face Once the mounting bracket has been inserted into the finished wal center the contol and tighten the mounting screws to draw the contol housing securely
