1. e a center hole on one long edge With the exception of model T121872 This is the back of each shelf Assomble the unit with these holes all facing the samo way NOTE Bottom shelf should be positioned no more than 3 from the floor Determine distance desired between bottom shelf and floor then bolt corner of shelf to post through holes provided Assembly is easiest when the posts are flat on the floor or a table lt A NOTE t may be necessary to press the post to line up with the holes in a shelf Insert both bolts before finger tightening either nut Installing the bolt in the long edge of the shelf first and then the shor edge is recommended Fasten the top shelf to the first hole in post 1 Continue assembling posts to the top and bottom shelves in the order shown above NOTE make certain that all shelves have the center hole facing the same way Position and fasten intermediate shelves by counting an equal number of holes on each post before bolting the shelf in place 5 Complete Assembly Stand unit upright on a flat level surface While holding the unit in position tighten the nuts holding the braces Install 4 corner gussetts as shown in Step 5 Adjust for squareness as necessary Tighten all nuts amp bolts at this time NOTE Braces should be placed inside of posts When all shelves have been mounted bolt the back braces in position Start by loosely bolting 2 or 4 braces save 2 braces from inventor2. ill L STORAGE SYSTEMS Assembly Instructions STEEL SHELVING IMPORTANT the following PIE instructions MUST be followed All Braces Nuts Bolts and Special Fasteners MUST be used as shown ONLY the Nuts and Bolts supplied with the unit should be used for assembly All bolting MUST be checked for tightness following complete assembly Any alteration or deviation from the instructions or overloading of shelves can result in the unit failure CAUTION DO NOT use this unit as a ladder If the unit is to be either loaded in a top heavy manner or positioned on an uneven floor it should be secured to a suitable supporting structure Skip this step for mode 3630 and 3636 Assemble 4 post sets us ing 2 sections of split po i and 2 10 24x1 2 nuts and bolts for each post set Align bolt holes by press fitting the 2 post sections as shown above for exclusive lock fit at post edges Bolt together at the first hole Fully tighten the 8 nuts and bolts PIAQLHNHAE amp PARTS LIST amp MODEL NO s HC30127 6 7212 T121872 KM30127 3630 3636 1630H SB560 KM3016 ED Corner Gusset 5 KO mam o Hardware 10 24x1 2 Split Posts l saa INVENTORY Back Side Braces wwe ma 6 7212 T121872 3630 3636 1630H SB560 6 437 437 37 831 ed 4 4 oe ee Hardware Nuts amp Bolts Do not fully tighten the nuts for the next 4 steps until step 5 is com pleted NOTE All shelves hav
