1. Display Ledge Installation Instructions 1 Determine the desired mounting location 2 Find the wall studs nearest to your desired mounting location If you are not able to screw into a wall stud at each keyhole slot location consult your local hardware store for the Proper hardware type for your particular wall type fam Why ce imam ian a nay Spiga ii mnt 3 Hold the ledge at the desired position and make a pencil mark at the top corner at cach end Then remove the ledge 4 Measure the distance from the top of the ledge to the top of the keyhole slot in the back of the ledge 5 Measure the same distance down from your marks on the wall This will be your screw height 6 Measure the distance from the ends of the ledge to the centers of the keyhole slots on the back edge of the ledge Be very accurate Sic 7 Mark this spacing on the wall measuring in from your marks made Ma in step 5 above Use a carpenters level or measure up from the floor at both marks to be sure your ledge will be level This will give your exact Screw location on the wall Again be very accurate 8 If screwing into wall studs screw both long screws provided into the wall as located If not screwing into wall studs use the hardware from your local hardware store Leave approximately 1 2 from the wall to the back of the screw head 9 Mount the ledge by fitting the lower hole of the keyhole slot over the screw head and sliding down until th2. e top of the keyhole slot rests on the screw shank You may need to tighten or loosen the screws in the wall to allow the ledge to fit snug against the wall 4 Cleaning and care Clean with any household furniture cleaner and a clean soft cloth Wipe and dry any water spills right away Moisture left of the finish may leave a discolored spot Woodform Inc recommends installation only by qualified persons Woodform Inc disclaims liabili ty for any consequential or incidental damage arising from the installation and or use of this product
