ASTR CAST Customer Care Guide INNOVATION DESIGN PERFORMANCE Accessories Bowl Grids Bowl grids help prevent damage to the sink bowls It is important however to clean your bowl grid to maintain hygienic conditions in your sink bowls We recommend removing the grid and washing with warm water and a mild detergent after use Your grid should be dried afterwards using a soft cloth E Do NOT place your bowl grid in the dishwasher E Do NOT place hot surfaces on a bowl grid this may damage the finish Chopping Boards To maintain the quality and hygiene of your cutting chopping boards please follow these simple instructions E Clean by washing with hot soapy water after preparing each food item and before you go on to the next item E A solution of 1 teaspoon of chlorine bleach in 1 quart of water should be used to sanitize surfaces Flood the surface with the solution and allow it to stand for several minutes E Do not immerse a wooden chopping board in water E Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth E For Wooden boards apply a coat of mineral oil to all wood surfaces on a monthly basis or more frequently if needed E Do NOT place your chopping board in the dishwasher E Do NOT place your chopping board in the microwave E Do NOT place hot surfaces on the chopping board E Do NOT store a wooden chopping board on Stainless Sinks when it is not in use E t is recommended to use one chopping board for fresh produce and a sepa2. rate one for raw meat poultry and seatood Colanders It is inportant to clean your colander to maintain hygienic conditions the finish We recommend using warm water with a mild detergent and drying using a soft cloth E Do NOT place your colander in the dishwasher E Do NOT place your colander in the microwave E Avoid dropping sharp or heavy items into the colander as this can damage the finish Drains It is important to clean your drains to maintain hygienic conditions the finish We recommend using warm water with a mild detergent and drying using a soft cloth E Do NOT place your drain in the dishwasher
