PORTABLE ICE MAKER 4 4 4 gt gt Model IM 124S INSTRUCTION MANUAL It is important that you read these instructions before using your portable ice maker and we strongly recommend that you keep them in a safe place for future reference 1 Important Notices When using an electrical appliance basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire electric shock and or injury including the following 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 Read all instructions before using Remove all packing material and carefully check your ice maker to ensure it is in good condition and that there is no damage to the unit power cord or plug Before using the ice maker for the first time please wait for 2 hours to allow the refrigerant to settle Please keep the lid open during this time Please use drinking water only Ensure the voltage is compliant with the voltage range stated on the rating label and ensure the grounding of the socket is in good condition If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard Do not tilt this product or incline it over a 45 degree angle To protect against risk of electric shock do not pour water on cord plug and ventilation or immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid Unplug the appliance a
2. mode The Power indicator will be flashing POWER e Press once to begin operation the power indicator will stay illuminated Z F r e During operation pressing the Power button will return the unit to standby mode lt Press to select ice size S small L large The corresponding size indicator will illuminate ae Default setting is L large B e Press and hold SELECT button for 3 seconds to activate pipeline self clean process which pumps water through the system for 30 seconds During the self clean process S and L indicators will flash alternately When done unit will return to standby mode O e Indicates insufficient water in the water reservoir sopwatrere Please add water and press POWER button to restart the machine O e Indicates the ice bin is full e Once the ice falls below the position of the Ice Bin Full Sensor the unit will restart CE FULL automatically Before Initial Use Before using the ice maker for the first time or after a long idle period it is strongly recommended to clean it thoroughly 1 Be sure unit is powered off and unplugged Clean the water reservoir with diluted mild detergent and warm water solution Drain the water by removing the drain plug Rinse thoroughly with clean water and drain Replace the drain plug and add clean water After connecting power supply press and hold SELECT button for 3 seconds to activate pipeline self clean process Drain water when t

8. soline or oil Rinse thoroughly before restarting 2 Keep ventilation openings in the appliance enclosure clear of obstruction 3 If unit has been sitting idle for a period of time the ADD WATER indicator may be flashing this is due to air bubbles trapped in the piping If this occurs press the POWER button and unit will return to normal state 4 To ensure the cleanness of ice please change water for water reservoir at least once a day If unit is not to be used for a long time please drain the water out and clean 5 If the operation is interrupted due to water shortage or interruption of power supply there will be a 3 minute delay before unit will restart This is to protect the compressor 6 Always use fresh water for ice production either at initial installation or after a long shut off period Troubleshooting 1 Please note if a power failure occurs due to disconnection of the power cord or the power button has been pushed off during an ice making cycle small ice chips may form and get lodged in the ice shovel causing it to jam If this occurs turn unit off and disconnect power Gently push the shovel to the rear and remove the ice chip Restart unit 2 Ice chip lodged in the ice shovel can also cause the water tray to be uneven or ice shovel unable to push ice cubes into the basket remove Restart unit If this is the case turn unit off and disconnect power Check for ice chips and PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SUGGES
