NOT JUST A PRODUCT A SOLUTION EKENAMILLWORK COIVI Whether you re working with indoor or outdoor applications crossheads are an excellent design improvement to the outer casings of doorways and windows Manufactured from high density poly urethane our crossheads carry a limited lifetime warranty against rotting splitting or cracking Our crossheads can be trimmed with standard woodworking tools and installed using construction adhesive Tools amp Materials Needed e Caulking gun e Hammer e Elastomeric adhesive caulk e Corrosion resistant finishing nails or e Tape measure screws e Sponge or clean cloth e Jigsaw keyhole saw or pen knife e Putty knife e Pencil e Extra fine sandpaper e Handsaw Prior to Installation e It is highly recommended that you paint finish our crossheads before you install them Once installed you can apply any necessary touch up paint finish e Clean installation surface and back of crosshead of all dirt and dust with a clean cloth or sponge e Make sure that the surface and the back of the crosshead are completely dry before attempting installation Important Safety Instructions e Make sure to use the correct tools recommended e Wear safety goggles e Follow fixture power tools and paint manufacturers instructions and users manuals e Use common sense and follow good construction practices Installation Process 1 Place the crosshead on top of the entrance opening 2 Align crosshead wi2. th the outer edges of the opening or pilasters Note The crosshead can be slightly larger than the opening as long as the overhang is equal on both sides 3 Fasten the crosshead using PL Premium Construction Adhesive and any necessary fasteners
