Vinyl Replacement Made to Fit Into Your Existing Steel Frame INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS MEASURING YOUR OPEHING STEEL FRAME SIZE First take the old window out of the frame Make sure the steel frame left in the wall measures 31 wide by 36 Y2 tall actual unit size is 30 3 4 x 36 1 4 Themeasurement taken must be from the inside of your window OPENING PREPARATION 1 Clean the steel frame 2 Remove pegs located at the lower end of the vertical sides Use a vise grip and a twisting bending action 3 Hook the chains from the kit onto the latch pins of the window This is done by taking off the rubber cap and placing the last loop of the chain around the pin Finally put the rubber cap back onto the pin Repeat on the other pin 4 Test the fit of the window Install the window place the sill bottom part first into the frame If the window is too big strip off one layer of foam padding If the window is still too big for the frame strip off the other layer of foam padding Note to remove the sash the window must be open at least 8 INSTALLATION of your new WellWindow 1 Install the window brackets one on each top corner of the frame Put one bracket in place Make sure the edge of the bracket is touching the comer Install fasten the bracket to the steel frame with provided screws se2 picture Repeat above directions for the second bracket opposite corner CAUTION DO NOT OVERTIG
