You can selectany combination of cooking function cooking temperature and automatic timing NOTE In the event of a power failure the programmer will keep all the settings time of day programme setting or programme in operation for about 3 minutes If power fails for a longer time all the settings will be cancelled When the power is restored the numbers in the display will flash and the clock timer has to be reset The oven safety devices Safety thermostat To prevent dangerous overheating through incorrect use of the appliance or defective components the oven is fitted with a safety thermostat which interrupts the powersupply The oven switches back on again automatically when the temperature drops Should the safety thermostattrigger due to incorrect use ofthe appliance itis enough to remedy the error afterthe ovenhas cooled down fonthe otherhand the thermostat triggers because of a defective component please contact the local customer service The cooling fan The cooling fan is designed to cool the oven and the control panel The fan switches on automatically after a few minutes of cooking Warm air is blown out through the aperture near the oven door handle When the oven is switched off the fan may run on after the oven is switched off to keep the controls cool This is quite normal The action of the cooling fan will depend on how long the oven has been used and atwhattemperature It may not switch in at

Remove the shelf supports and all i oven accessories before activating the pyrolytic cleaning cycle Replacing the oven light Disconnectthe appliance If the oven bulb needs replacing it must comply with the following specifications Electric power 40 W Electric rate 230 V 50 Hz Resistant to temperatures of 300 C Connection type E14 These bulbs are available from your local Service Force Centre cg Toreplace the faulty bulb 1 Ensure the oven is isolated from the electrical Supply 2 Push in and turn the glass cover anticlockwise 3 Remove the faulty bulb and replace with the new one 4 Refitthe glass cover and restore the electrical supply 36 ZANUSSI Something not working ZANUSSI Ifthe appliance is not working correctly please check the following before contacting an authorised Service Centre PROBLEM W The oven is notheating up M The oven lightdoes notcome on H ittakes too long to cook the dishes or they cook too quickly M Steam and condensation settle on the food and in the oven cavity M The oven fan is noisy B The display shows 12 00 B The error code letter F followed by digits appears in the display SOLUTION Press the control then selecta cooking function or Has the fuse in the domestic electrical installation been tripped or s the child safety device or the automatic On Off cut off function switched on
