8. ime longer e Temperature around the dryer Tne dryer heats room air If the room air temperature is not above 45 F 7 2 C drying time will be longer and removal of wrinkles may be poor e Proper installation and exhaust sys tems For the fastest possible drying time installing and exhausting your dryer properly is important See instal lation instructions Be careful not to overdry Over drying can cause shrinkage damage to some fabrics and static cling FLUFF AIR This temperature setting is useful for fluffing bedding pillows and cloth ing or dusting drapes It is also best to use when damp drying heat sensitive items Drying plastic or rubber items with heat may damage the items or be a fire hazard FLUFF AIR should be used for such items as plastic shower curtains or tablecloths rubber backed rugs some pillows stuffed toys etc 6 e Turn the TEMPERATURE SELECTOR to FLUFF AIR e Turn the Cycle Control Knob to the number of minutes you want in the PERMANENT PRESS Cycle e Push the Start Button TUMBLE PRESS Control This setting is useful for removing wrinkles from packing in suitcases or closets TUMBLE PRESS will help put them back into their pre set shape e Set Cycle Control Knob to TUMBLE PRESS 10 1 Tumble Press Sa damp dry e Set TEMPERATURE SELECTOR to PERM T PRESS HEAVY HIGH e Push the Start Button For best results TUMBLE PRESS only a few items at a time p

11. ut them on nangers or fold them as soon as the dryer stops If You Need Service or Help We suggest You Follow These Three Steps 1 Before calling for service Problems are sometimes caused by little things you can correct without tools Check this list before you call for service DRYER DOES NOT RUN e Is electric power cord plugged in e Is the dryer door closed tightly Your dryer has a switch by tre door that shuts off the dryer if the door is opened e Did you push the Start Button e Check circuit breakers or fuses in the fuse DOx DRYER RUNS BUT DOES NOT HEAT Is the Cycle Control Knob pointing to at least 10 mir utes or LIGHT The last minutes are cool down time e isit o gas dryer See if hie gas is turned on If not ture the Cycle Contro Knob to OFF Turn on the gas and wait five minutes for the automatic switch to reset Then try starting it again is it an electric dryer Check the cir cuit breakers or fuses IN tne fuse box An electric dryer will nave two fuses If one is blown the dryer may run but not heat DRYING TIME IS LONGER THAN USUAL e Check the lint screen Remove lint Keep the screen clean for best drying results and times e Modern dryers are designed to dry at the cooler temperatures needed by modern fabrics They may need more time than you are used to 2 If you need service TECH CARE LMM spe If your WHIRLPOOL appliance ever needs service an
