1. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR 29278 CAUTION This lamp is partially assembled in the factory by qualified craftsmen Some assembly is required before use Please follow the assembly instructions carefully WARNING TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE ELECTRICAL SHOCK OR PERSONAL INJURY Turn off unplug lamp and allow to cool before replacing bulb Do not touch bulb when fixture is turned on Do not look directly at lighted bulb Keep materials that burn easily away from lighted bulb Assembly 1 Place the base on a flat floor 2 Screw the bottom of lower pole onto the coupling at top of base while pulling cord through bottom Hands tighten until snug 3 Screw the bottom of upper pole onto the coupling at top of upper pole while pulling cord through bottom Hands tighten until snug 4 Screw the bottom of fixture body onto the top of upper pole while pulling cord through bottom Hands tighten until snug 5 Locate glass and spacer Carefully place the center hole of glass and spacer over the socket of fixture body and secure with socket ring Hands tighten until snug 6 Install a proper bulb not provided to the sqcket referring to the markings and labels on fixture for maximum wattage Do not exceed maximum wattage indicated as it may cause fire cT gt 2 Important Safety Installations _ Lower pole This portable lamp has a polarized plug one blade is wider ci than the other as a safety feature T2. his plug can be used in I f polarized outlet only one way If the plug does not fit fully in the C T gt outlet revetse the plug If it still does not fit contact a qualified electrician Never use with and extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted Do not alter the plug _ Cleaning Use only soft cloth to dust and clean fixture Never use chemicals or abrasive cleaners as it may damage finish IF INDOUBT ABOUT ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION CONSULT A LICENSED ELECTRICIANI 12 04
