5. during the wash cycle you must wait at least 1 min with the door ajar before starting the dishwasher again Deleting Changing the programme To abort a programme in progress simply select programme PO When the door is closed the dishwasher will force an early end to the programme To change a programme already in progress simply set the new number corresponding to the programme desired When the door is closed the dishwasher will automatically start the new programme Programme delay Allows the start of washing programmes to be delayed by from a minimum of 1 hour to a maximum of 9 This allows you to operate the dishwasher during the hours prefer When the programme delay button is pressed the display first shows the duration of the program and then the number of hours 9 8 1 of delay required before the dishwasher starts The clock symbol remains until the program begins while the number of hours disappears automatically if the keypad is not touched for five seconds or if any button other than program delay is pressed To see how many hours are left before the programme starts simply press the corresponding button once Economy programme selection This button can be pressed to reduce the themperatures in programmes higher than number 3 allowing a significant electricity saving and reducing the duration of the washing cycle IMPORTANT You can turn off the tap at the end of the washi

11. dispenser before each wash cycle and is dispensed automatically do not add detergent before running a SOAK program which does not use detergent 51 PREPARATIONS BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE 2 FIRST TIME a e If a detergent in tablet form is used the tablets may be placed in the detergent dispenser or in the cutlery basket In the later case still close the door of the detergent dispenser However it is preferable to place the tablet in the dispenser so that all the detergent is used in the wash If insufficient detergent is added the dirt will not be completely eliminated excessive detergent does not increase the effectiveness of the wash but is wasteful and may cause foam and pollution DETERGENT INFORMATION There are various types of dishwasher detergents available in the shops in liquid powder or tablet form and with different chemical compositions 1 containing phosphates 2 phosphate free with natural enzymes For environmental protection reasons we recommend the use of phosphate and chlorine free detergents 1 Detergents containing phosphates are more effective at removing fat and starch at temperatures above 60 C 2 Enzymatic detergents are effective at lower temperatures from 40 C to 55 C because of their biological action and they are also more biodegradable Enzymatic detergents therefore give the same washing results at low temperatures as those obtainable with t
12. e 41 The connection at the appliance end of the water intake hose is adjustable on models not equipped with AQUASTOP proceed as follows loosen the locking ring turn the hose in the direction you require tighten the locking ring fully and check for leaks Drain connection The drain connection can be made in various ways f to a sink drain siphon to a drain pipe with vent of at least 4 cm in diameter by fitting the drain hose in the plastic support and hooking it over the side of a sink The plastic support serves to create a curved shape at the end of the hose so that it engages properly with the edge of the sink Warning Make sure the drain hose is properly secured to the sink to avoid the risk of it becoming disengaged and falling The plastic curve features a hole for a cord so that it can be tied to the wall or to the tap etc so that it cannot become accidentally detached from the sink fig 2 42 Irrespective of the solution you choose make sure that the end of the drain hose is between 30cm and 100cm from the floor fig 2a If necessary you can use a drain extension hose of up to 3 metres in length In this case the extension must be installed horizontally and the maximum permissible drain height is reduced from 100cm to 85cm Electrical connection Before connecting the appliance to the electrical supply refer to the safe

21. ormation Display Setting the programme All programming operations are accompanied by a short beep to indicate reception if you do not hear anything when a button is pressed the programme selected does not provide this function To select the most suitable programme for the dishes to be washed comply carefully with the table in the manual which follows especially in the beginning This table lists the programmes available in relation to the type of dishes their strength and resistance to temperature and how dirty they are With this fully integrated dishwasher the washing programmes are selected with the door partly open Once the most suitable programme has been identified it is set by pressing the programme selection button until the corresponding number appears on the information display N B PO on the display means that no washing programme has been selected This indication remains on the display until the programme selection button is pressed at this point the display will show the last programme carried out Each time the button is pressed the system will scroll through the program numbers from that number onward Start up At this point to start the dishwasher simply close the door A beep will inform you that the programme is starting Switch off The end of the washing programme is signalled by an on off beeper and the appearance of PO on the display Caution If you open the door
