Digital Camera Kids Cam Show and Share Creativity Center software installation CD USB cable User s Manual Strap Computer System Requirements To be able to download photos to your PC you will need the following minimum configuration Windows 2000 XP Pentium based PC or equivalent 150 MB hard disk free space and 128 MB or more RAM Available USB Interface CD ROM Drive Color display 16 bit or higher recommended VGA Resolution 1024 X 768 A Quick Look at Your Camera View finder Lens USB plug Battery compartment Shutter button LED ready light LCD Mode button Preparing Your Camera for Use Battery Installation Your camera requires two AA alkaline batteries which must be inserted as follows 1 Slide open the battery compartment at the bottom of the camera in the direction indicated by the arrow 2 Insert the batteries in accordance with the polarity shown on the inside of the cover 3 Close the battery compartment The LCD will flash if your batteries are running low in which case you will need to replace the camera s batteries before taking photos When the battery voltage drops below 2 2V the LCD will display Lo and then automatically switch off Note If you do not intend to use your camera for an extended period remove the battery to avoid leakage and corrosion Warning Please download any photos you have on the camera before opening the battery compartment Ope2. or low resolution Lr 1 Hr or Lr will be shown on the LCD display If the LCD displays Hr this means that the present resolution is Lr and in order to change to Hr click on the shutter button within 5 seconds 2 Ifthe LCD displays Lr this means that the present resolution is Hr and in order to change to Lr click on the shutter button within 5 seconds 3 All photos taken after changing resolution will be taken at the new resolution There are 2 photo compressions to select from high density Hd or low density Ld 1 Press the mode button to select Hd or Ld shown on the LCD display 2 Ifthe LCD displays Hd this means that the present compression is Ld and in order to change to Hd click on the shutter button within 5 seconds 3 Ifthe LCD displays Ld this means that the present compression is Hd and in order to change to Ld click on the shutter button within 5 seconds apie 4 All photos taken after changing compression will be at the new compression The photo compression and resolution settings determine the number the number of photos and the amount of memory required for each photo The following table tells you how many photos can be taken based on the image resolution and compression Resolution Compression Hr Ld 18 photos Lr Hd 152 photos Hr Hd 50 photos Lr Ld 64 photos Co
