Warning Important 4 Caution XW Hint Note notes Y e Inthe calculator display represents Sunday Press the desired city key twice to turn on the daylight saving time SUMMER appears Press that key again to turn off the daylight saving time To switch between the 12 or 24 hour formats press the desired city key in your time zone then press 12 24 In the 12 hour time format PM appears for a PM hour You cannot shift the 12 or 24 hour formats in other time zones one month at a time from January 1901 to 2099 Key Tone lets you set the calculator to sound a tone each time you press a key 16 City World Time shows you the current time in 16 time zones around the world OPERATION REMOVING THE BATTERY INSULATION STRIP To prevent battery drain during shipping your calculator is shipped with an insulation strip that you must remove before use To remove the strip firmly grasp its end and gently pull it out The calculator sounds a long beep and e 88 88 appears USING THE KEY TONE Open the cover To set the calculator to sound a tone each time you press a key press J so the calculator beeps once To turn off the key tone press J again SETTING THE DATE AND TIME Once you set the date and time for your home time zone all other world times are set automatically based on your home time zone 1 Press to display the clock mode 2 Pre

9. or dry if it gets wet wipe it dry immediately Use and store the calculator only in normal temperature environments Handle the calculator carefully do not drop it Keep the calculator away from dust and dirt and wipe it with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking new REPLACING THE BATTERY Your calculator comes with one CR2025 lithium battery for power When the display dims or the calculator s speed slows replace the battery A 1 Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove two screws from the battery compartment cover then remove the cover 2 Use a screwdriver to gently push the old battery out of the battery holder Follow these steps to set up the exchange rates and convert currencies 1 Press CAL AC to enter the calculator mode 2 Press C1 A or C2 V to see if the exchange rate is correct If it is go to Step 6 If not go to Step 3 3 To set up the exchange rate in C1 press SET The exchange rate on C1 flashes A Repeatedly press C1 A or C2 v to select the desired exchange rate or enter the desired rate for example the conversion rate between the US dollar and the European doolar then press SET to save the rate for C1 5 Repeat steps 3 and 4 to save the exchange rate for C2 6 Enter the amount to be converted then press the desired exchange rate on C1 A or C2 V The converted amount appears 7 Repeatedly press C1 A or C2 V to switch between the converted amount and the amount to
