116. th Invoice Templates Invoice templates allow you to create invoices faster You store details about invoice items prices and standard tax rates in templates that you can use as a starting point for invoicing your customers Read the following topics to learn about creating and managing invoice templates e About Invoice Templates on page 83 e Creating Templates on page 87 e Managing Templates on page 94 About Invoice Templates An invoice template contains values that you frequently include in an invoice Using a template saves you time when you create an invoice by pre filling invoice fields For example if you typically sell two taxable products together you can create a template that contains the two items and their applicable taxes Each time you have an order for those two products you can use this template to enter the item information for you You can save the following information in an invoice template e Your contact information including your logo e Payment terms e Currency e Item information Item name quantity unit price tax description e Discount e Shipping handling e Tax on shipping e Terms and conditions text e Note to recipient e Memo In the Create a new invoice page you can see a list of the available templates in Select a template When you first open the Create a new invoice page the only template listed is the PayPal Default Template As you add templates they become av
117. the Address Book Accessing the Address Book You can access the Address book in the following ways Click the Address book link in the Create a new invoice page The Address book page opens and lists your contacts You can search for a contact or add a new one to use in the invoice Click the recipient name in the Manage Invoices page The Address book page opens and displays the contact s information in the right column Select Address book from the Invoice Settings navigation box The Address book page opens and lists your contacts You can add edit delete or search for your contacts Adding Contacts to the Address Book You can add contact information to the Address book in the following ways 1 Select Add billing and shipping information in an invoice When you complete the recipient information for the current invoice you can save it to your Address book to use again When you enter a recipient s email address in an invoice a drop down list displays any matching Address book entries Add new contact using the Address book page in Invoice Settings You must enter an email address for each contact All remaining Address book information is optional Saving Recipient Information to the Address Book 1 2 Log in to your PayPal account Click the Request Money tab and then click Create Invoice The Create a new invoice page opens Enter the Recipient s email address Click Add billing and
