1. Indoor Unit Hi 24 Use shock absorber during pull out the piping to protect the intake grille from damage ipin a E om 4 Shock absorber _ gt U__l Right Rear piping Tape it with piping in a position as mentioned in Fig below Cover for the bottom piping How to keep the cover In case of the cover is cut keep the cover at the rear of chassis as shown in the illustration for future reinstallation Left and 2 bottom covers for piping Right and Right Bottom piping Tape it with piping in a position as mentioned in Fig below Piping Cover for Cover for the the left bottom piping piping r Cover for Drain hose the right piping i Install the indoor unit 7 Hooks at installation Hook the indoor unit onto the upper plate portion of installation plate Engage the indoor unit with the upper edge of the installation plate Ensure the hooks are properly seated on the installation plate by moving it in left and right Secure the Indoor Unit Sleeve for piping hole JE Drain hose 1 Press the lower left and right side of the unit against the installation plate until hooks engages with their slot sound click oS Unit s Installation hook plate To take out the unit push
2. the 3 way valve 6 Tighten the service port caps of the 3 way valve at a torque of 13 3 Ibf ft with a torque wrench 7 Remove the valve caps of both of the 2 way valve and 3 way valve Position both of the valves to Open using a hexagonal wrench 5 32 8 Mount valve caps onto the 2 way valve and the 3 way valve o Be sure to check for gas leakage Z CAUTION If micron gauge value does not descend 500 microns take the following measures If the leak stops when the piping connections are tightened further continue working from step 3 If the leak does not stop when the connections are retightened repair location of leak Do not release refrigerant during piping work for installation and reinstallation Be careful with the liquid refrigerant it may cause frostbite 11 4 4 Connect the Cable to the Outdoor Unit Remove control board cover Resin and Metal Remove particular plate Remove plugs Fix the conduit connectors to the knockout holes with lock nuts then secure them against the side panel All wires pass through conduits amp particular plate s opening hole Connecting wire between indoor unit and outdoor unit should be UL listed or CSA approved 4 conductor wires minimum AWG16 in accordance with local electric codes Wire connection to the power supply 208 230V 60Hz through circuit breaker o Connect the UL listed or CSA approved wires minimum AWG12 to the terminal board and connect the other end of the

4. 11 11 1 Select the Best Location Installation Instruction 11 1 1 Indoor Unit e Do not install the unit in excessive oil fume area such as kitchens workshops and etc e There should not be any heat source or steam near the unit e There should not be any obstacles blocking the air circulation e Aplace where air circulation in the room is good e A place where drainage can be easily done e A place where noise prevention is taken into consideration e Do not install the unit near the door way e Ensure the spaces indicated by arrows from the wall ceiling fence or other obstacles e Recommended installation height for indoor unit shall be at least 8 2 ft 11 1 2 Outdoor Unit e fan awning is built over the unit to prevent direct sunlight or rain be careful that heat radiation from the condenser is not obstructed e There should not be any animal or plant which could be affected by hot air discharged e Keep the spaces indicated by arrows from wall ceiling fence or other obstacles e Do not place any obstacles which may cause a short circuit of the discharged air e f piping length is over the piping length for additional gas additional refrigerant should be added as shown in the table e Recommended installation height for outdoor unit should be above the seasonal snow level Btu h Piping Piping Piping Additional Length i for add gas ft E18NKUA 17100 Example For E18NKUA If

GA Pull out the Indoor piping 4 SIGA Install the Indoor Unit SIGES Secure the Indoor Unit k SiG Insert the connecting cable 11 3 5 For the right bottom piping SIGE Pull out the Indoor piping j SIGA Install the Indoor Unit 4 SIGRE Insert the connecting cable 4 SIGE Secure the Indoor Unit 11 3 6 For the embedded piping SIGE Replace the drain hose a SIGA Bend the embedded piping E s e Use a spring bender or equivalent to bend the piping so that the piping is not crushed SIGRE Pull the connecting cable into Indoor Unit H e The inside and outside connecting cable can be connected without removing the front grille BiGo a Cut and flare the embedded piping y e When determining the dimensions of the piping slide the unit all the way to the left on the installation plate e Refer to the section Cutting and flaring the piping Sigg Install the Indoor Unit j Siicjemee Connect the piping J e Please refer to Connecting the piping column in outdoor unit section Below steps are done after connecting the outdoor piping and gas leakage confirmation SIGA Insulate and finish the piping e Please refer to Piping and finishing column of outdoor section and Insulation of piping connection column as mentioned in indoor outdoor unit installation SiG Secure the
