3. 73383 revl 29 4 08 15 48 Page 2 2 E GETTING THE BEST FROM YOUR CLEANER Filters It is important that the pleated filter is clicked clean J each time the dust canister is emptied to allow air through the appliance REGULARLY remove and wash OR THOROUGHLY BRUSH OFF the dust canister pleated filter always allow to air dry before re fitting see page 5 IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS E Location Do not use or keep this product outside Do not store the appliance near hot surfaces eg ovens or heating appliances E Mains lead Do not allow the mains lead to become strained or run this appliance over it If the electrical cable becomes damaged the cable assembly must be replaced Do not attempt this task yourself contact the helpline number that is found at the bottom of the page E Personal safety _ WARNING Keep loose clothing hair fingers etc away from the floor nozzle whenever the cleaner is connected to the mains WARNING Only lift the product by the carry handle WARNING Disconnect from the mains supply before carrying out any routine maintenance such as clearing any blockages changing any filters or accessing the floor nozzle Disconnect from the mains supply before cleaning or emptying the appliance Never modify the cleaner in any way Never use in the presence of explosive liquid or vapours Never pick up inflammable or poisonous liquids suc

The HEPA exhaust filter should be replaced every 6 months to maintain the high performance filtration Call our helpline The exhaust filter is located below the dust canister compartment 1 Remove the exhaust filter grille 2 Remove the exhaust filter by pulling forward at the top and lifting away 3 Fit the replacement filter 4 Refit the grille 5 Dispose of the used filter in the dust bin E HINTS AND TIPS I Safety cut out Suction motor If the cleaner overheats a motor protection thermostat will automatically switch the motor off If this happens switch the cleaner off unplug from the power supply and leave the cleaner to cool for at least 60 minutes Check the airways for blockages empty dust canister and clean the filters before restarting Ireland Helpline 1800 409 119 73383 revl 29 4 08 15 48 Page 7 s IN Safety cut out brush bar motor If a large item or rug edge jams the brush bar a safety cut out will operate If this happens switch off and unplug before cleaning the blockage Wait 1 minute before switching back on I Blockages If the performance has deteriorated there may be a blockage Check the hose and tools Check the dust canister inlet Check the floor nozzle hose The upper end of the floor nozzle hose may be disconnected for inspection by squeezing the release clips and pulling down Clear any blockages and r

10. ng the dust canister filter assembly 1 Operate the filter cleaning dial several times and empty the dust canister over a bin 2 To access the filter assembly rotate the dust canister lid anti clockwise and remove from the dust canister f 3 Turn the central mesh filter clockwise to remove and clean as required f 4 Detach the pleated filter B from the dust canister lid by a firm pull twist action W 5 Both the mesh and pleated filters may be washed in warm water no detergent Allow to air dry Ensure the filters are thoroughly dry before refitting 6 Re locate the pleated filter back into position on the dust canister lid by aligning the tabs on the dust canister lid J with the cut away sections on the pleated filter before pushing into place Refit the mesh filter and turn anti clockwise to lock into position on the dust canister lid Re attach the dust canister lid on to the dust canister by aligning the arrows I Then rotate the lid clockwise to lock UK Helpline 0844 871 0949 Replacement Parts 0844 873 0715 E Motor protection filter The motor protection filter is located underneath the dust canister M 1 Remove the dust canister 2 Lift out the filter and shake over a dustbin The filter may also be washed in warm water no detergents Allow the filter to air dry Ensure the filter is thoroughly dry before refitting 3 Replace the filter B Exhaust filter
11. or effective stair cleaning Attach the hair tool amp to the stair tool for fantastic pet hair pick up fi Attach the soft dusting brush to the stair tool for a softer pick up fi Attach the stubborn dirt brush to the stair tool to attack stubborn ground in dirt Attach the upholstery brush to the stair tool for effective upholstery cleaning Attach the crevice tool to the hose handle or tubes to access narrow or hard to reach places Attach the small turbo nozzle to the hose handle only for use on upholstery and stairs WARNING The small turbo nozzle should not be used with the extension tubes Attach to the hose handle only I Cleaning the turbo nozzle The turbo nozzle should be regularly cleaned and any hairs or fibres wrapped around the brush bar removed to maintain optimum performance To aid cleaning the turbo nozzle can be opened up by pushing the button on the nozzle forwards E DUST CANISTER E Emptying Every time the dust canister is emptied rotate the filter cleaning dial several times clockwise before emptying 4 this will agitate the fine dust between the filter pleats and restore the air flow 2 Remove the dust canister from the product by pressing the canister release button EJ 3 Turn the lid quarter of a turn anti clockwise to unlock lift off the lid with the pleated filter J 4 Empty the canister into a dustbin 5 Re fit the dust canist
