Manitowoc ICE MACHINES amp REACH INS K00135 STACKING KIT Installation Instructions 1 The K00135 stacking kit is used for stacking a J 1300 or J 1800 on a J 1300 or J 1800 ice machine NOTE The bin must be level before proceeding to step 2 Refer to sheet 2 for installation assembly view 2 Installation of Ice Machines VOW gt p G H I See install use care guide for uncrating and inspection of both ice machines Remove top cover and top front support angle from lower ice machine Set ice machine carefully and squarely on bin Remove the two screws from top right side frame angle above control box Using the same two screws install control box shield over control box with insulated side down Remove backing paper from 1 square of double sided tape and place tape in center of shim Remove the remaining backing paper and match slot in shim to hole in ice machine frame as shown on sheet 2 Press in place Repeat for opposite side Lower ice machine must have electrical connections completed at this time Refer to ice machine install use care guide for electrical hook up Set top ice machine carefully and squarely on lower ice machine Remove front and side panels from both ice machines Bolt two ice machines together with 1 4 20 x 5 8 long bolt lockwasher and nut provided in kit one each side 3 Installation of Ice Chute OmMMOO D gt Remove angle A from top ice machine and set aside Set botto2. m mounting brackets of ice chute over angle B Reinstall angle A in slots of top mounting brackets and secure in place Check for free movement of both water curtains Refer to ice machine install use care guide for electrical and water hook up and start up procedure Reattach front and side panels Add eight sheet metal screws included with kit to side panels four on each side of lower ice machine where the top and lower ice machines butt Manitowoc Ice Inc 2110 South 26 Street P O Box 1720 Manitowoc WI 54221 1720 USA 8010313 Telephone 920 682 0161 Fax Sales 920 683 7589 Service Parts 920 683 7585 Other 920 683 7879 Sheet 1 of 1 Web Site www manitowocice com Rev 05 31 01
