READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING FIXTURE INSTRUCTION SHEET NO This fixture is intended for installation in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local regulations To assure full compliance with local codes and regulations check with your local electrical inspector before IS 5543 installation To prevent electrical shock turn off electricity at fuse box before proceeding 7 Retain these instructions for maintenance reference 1292 Page 1 of 1 INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION FIXTURE ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION Thread MOUNTING SCREWS into OUTLET BOX While supporting CEILING PAN make electrical connections black fixture lead or fixture lead without tracer marks to hat black supply lead white fixture lead or fixture lead with tracer mark to neutral white supply lead Uninsulated wire is a ground and must be connected to grounding terminal or ground lead inside OUTLET BOX Use WIRENUTS local hardware item Push supply wires and wirenut connections back into OUTLET BOX Position CEILING PAN over MOUNTING SCREWS and allow heads of MOUNTING SCREWS to come through the KEYHOLE SLOTS in CEILING PAN Secure in place by tightening MOUNTING SCREWS Using the three AUXILIARY MOUNTING HOLES in CEILING PAN secure CEILING PAN to ceiling using wood screws toggle bolts or alternate fasteners not provided depending on ceiling material f Install recommend lamps by inserting base of lamp into SOCKET and snappi2. ng lamp into LAMP SUPPORT CLIP CAUTION Use lamp wattage and type as marked on fixture Align holes in DIFFUSER RING ASSEMBLY with MOUNTING STUDS on CEILING PAN and allow STUDS to pass through the holes Secure in place by threading KNOBS onto each MOUNTING STUDS DIFFUSER CLEANING AND REMOVAL Diffuser can be cleaned using a soft damp cloth Should DIFFUSER need to be removed from diffuser ring for cleaning follow steps below 1 While gently prying back on one RETAINING SPRING use a slotted screw driver OUTLET BOX push up on DIFFUSER allowing DIFFUSER to snap away from three RETAINING SPRING Fig 2 AUXILIARY Cc N 2 Clean DIFFUSER ES di Pisa MOUNTING 3 Reinstall DIFFUSER by gently pushing DIFFUSER down into DIFFUSER RING until SCREWS all three RETAINING SPRINGS engage on the edge of the DIFFUSER and PERS DIFFUSER sits flush inside DIFFUSER RING NOTE If supply wires are located within three inches of ballast use wire rated for at least 90 C WARNING RISK OF FIRE MOST DWELLINGS BUILT BEFORE 1985 HAVE SUPPLY WIRE RATED 60 C CONSULT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN BEFORE INSTALLATION RETAINING eee SPRING BCS BAB CD BBE BR torrent QUEBEC CANADA
