5. r depending on whether you are using the charger at home or in the car Be aware that when using the DC Auto cord many cars do not supply power to the cigarette lighter while the key is in the off position Plug the selected power adapter into the power source available and plug the connector at the end of the adapter cord into the power input jack on the top of the charger unit The red Charge indicator LED s will begin flashing Red to show charging is taking place 3 When the LED s stop flashing and are on continuously the batteries are fully charged and the charger is in trickle charge mode to maintain the batteries at full You may continue to leave the batteries in the charger for several hours or even a day or two but leaving the batteries in the charger continuously is not recommended It is best to remove the battery as soon as it is practical after charge is complete Note The LED will be OFF for the following reasons No battery installed in that position Battery is defective Batteries are installed in reverse Incompatible battery types are installed 4 After removing the batteries from the charger disconnect the DC power connector plug Repeat the process from step 1 if you want to charge more batteries Note This charger is designed to be operated at room temperature Caution Batteries are not charged as shipped Must be charged prior to first use This charger is designed for indoor use only Do n
