1. the life of the camera circuitry Protecting X15 body Avoid place X15 on top of hard objects to prevent abrasions or dents Do not block ventilation vents on the back and the side of X15 Avoid to lay the tablet KUPArecommend using special stand Cleaning and maintenance Please follow below steps before performing any cleaning or maintenance Step 1 Turn off the power remove the connected power adapter and any externally attached devices and cables Step 2 Blow dust out of ports and openings Step 3 Use a soft cloth to wipe the surface of the tablet Be careful not to allow any water or cleaning agent inside X15 Step 4 Only turn on X15 when it is completely dry Please note If X15 hasn t been used for an extended time we recommend running touch screen calibration in Windows control panel again 3 Others SIM card overheating 3G version It is normal for SIM card generates heat when working Mobile Phone Using mobile phone can affect the audio system of the tablet but not the operation the tablet KUPA recommends users to keep a minimal 30cm distance between the mobile phone and tablet CPU Performance CPU performance of the tablet may vary in the following conditions Externally attached devices Number of opened programs Abnormal air pressure or temperature level X15 may attempt automatic shutdown to protect itself EMC compatibility X15 applies to the EMC environment for civil use business and light industr
2. prevent dust and impact to happen Please do not overload the bag to prevent the display screen from bending 3 Take power adapter and user manuals along for extended trip 2 Daily Maintenance KUPA X15 is high precision equipment please be careful when handling and avoid any incorrect operation in humid or sandy condition Maintenance of touch screen Due to its crystal glass structure the LED touch screen is the most vulnerable part ofX15 Oniy use Kupa X15 pen and fingertips on X15 s touch screen DO NOT use other sharp objects or market to write on the touch screen or use excessive force DO NOT place any objects on the screen Place X15 in the protective case or backpack when traveling with it Do not put too many stuff between the backpack and the LCD display screen to avoid crushing The surface of the LCD will attract dust due to static so the user is recommended to buy LCD cleaning cloth to clean the LCD screen DO NOT use general cleaning agents to clean the LCD screen only use clean agents that are specifically made to clean LCD screen Avoid having water on the internal LCD screen and wipe any water off immediately from X15 Camera Lens Care To ensure clarity of pictures and videos please wipe away dirt and fingerprints offthe lens cover Only use soft cotton clothes for wiping no hard objects or abrasive chemicals shall be used Do not use the camera for an extended time the heat generated from overuse may shorten

6. actory To start manual calibrating please refer to the following steps 1 Go into Control Panel select Hardware 2 In Tablet Setting select Pen and Touch and Sound TEE CFE EE Realtek HD Audio Manager 3 Select Calibrate 4 Select Pen or Touch Input Display Other Configure What type of screen do you want to Configure your pen and touch displays calibrate Display options Display 1 Mobile PC Display Pen input Details Pen and Limited Touch Support Touch input Calibrate Choose the order in which your screen rotates Go to Cancel Orientation 5 During calibration process please click the center of the cross line once it presents Please do not change the screen orientation before the calibration is completed If use wants to exit calibration please press ESC button Note This means user cannot exit calibration without connecting a keyboard or docking In this case we recommend finish Calibration and then reset To provide calibration samples tap the crosshair each time that it appears on the screen Right click anywhere on the screen to retum to the last calibration point Press the Esc button to close the tool Do not change your screen orientation until you have completed the calibration process To use X15 outdoor KUPA recommends 1 Make sure that the battery is full 2 Place X15 inside of the protective case or the holster to
7. le optional KUPA can create customized external module for X15 based on specific client use Both right side and left side of the tablet have latches that can be used to attach modules Examples of modular functionalities are barcode scanner Id card reader IC card reader etc Please contact KUPA for further information Troubleshooting 1 Easy way for troubleshooting The tablet went through strict quality control before shipping out of the factory Some issues may arise to incorrect operation or shipping damages Please first refer to the following section to solve issues you are experiencing If problem persists please contact KUPA service on www kupaworld com for further support How to force X15 to power off in case X15 becomes unresponsive Press and hold the power button for 3 4 second to perform force shutdown X15 will not boot after power button is pressed Battery may be drained Please check the battery signal connect the power adapter and try again Please Make sure power adapter connection is plugged in correctly and securely Use may want to disconnect all the external devices before trying again What to do If water got into the X15 Don t power on X15 or that will cause more serious damages Remove as much water out of X15 as you can and find a soft cloth or dry tissue to wipe off the water gently be cautious not to damage the display screen surface Then use an electric fan blowing at low speed to dry X15 off a

9. nd try booting If X15 still does not boot contact customer service immediately Battery life is too short Check to see whether the battery is fully charged Check to see whether the battery hasn t been used for a long time after fully charged if so please re charge it before using Due to the chemical feature of the charged battery the battery life may start to slowly reduce after several charges To recondition battery please completely run down the battery and fully recharge it Please follow the battery maintenance instruction in this manual For additional question please visit www kupaworld com Please note that if the packaging or shipping box was damaged please do not use it to pack the tablet for shipping handling to avoid any damage 1 When using the tablet PC outdoors 1 3 Quick Sleep Wakeup When the system is running press the power button for one second to enter standby wake up mode If user needs to set remove password to wake up including fingerprint login please go to control panel and select power option to change settings 1 4 Charging Normally the system will alert user to recharge when the battery level falls under 10 It will alert again under 7 The system will go into sleep when the battery level drops below 5 We recommended user recharge the battery if the tablet has not been used for more than 3 months 1 5 Touch screen calibration The screen has been calibrated before out of the f
