4. ke This is normal and only lasts for a short time Ensure there is adequate ventilation IB KH1550 Toaster UK 21 11 2006 17 10 Seite 5 KH 1550 Setting the browning control toasting timer The desired browning setting can be chosen from light to dark using the variable control knob to set the toasting timer Toasting e After setting the browning control insert the bread into the toasting slot e Press down the control button e The KH 1550 automatic bread cen tring feature centres the inserted slice in the toasting slot e When the required browning level is reached the toaster switches itself off automatically and then raises the toast e The KH 1550 has a toast removal lever which gives you a simple and safe way of removing hot slices of toast from the toaster slot 9 Just slide the lever 2 upwards e To achieve the same degree of brow ning over several consecutive toasting cycles wait for about 1 to 1 5 minutes between each toasting cycle e Do not cover the slots 9 when using the toaster KH 1550 Interrupting the toasting process If you wish to interrupt the toasting process press the stop button The toaster switches off Warming function Do The warming function 4 allows you to warm bread without toasting it This function can be selected in the illuminated operating button display e Insert the bread and press down the operating button
