WIN PORTABLE COMPACT DISC PLAYER WITH ANTI SHOCK 45SEC INSTRUCTION MANUAL PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USING YOUR UNIT MODEL JX CD530 LOCATION OFCONTROLS CD MODE BUTTON CD SKIP p gt m4 BUTTON DC IN 4 5V ADAPTER JACK NOT INCLUDED HOLD SWITCH STOP BUTTON power off PLAY PAUSE power on LINE OUT JACK PHONES JACK DOOR OPEN BASS BOOST switch gt CONTROL CONTROL OPERATION AND FUNCTION POWER SUPPLY Your CD player requires 2 size AA alkaline batteries not included or use the AC adapter not included AC ADAPTER OPERATION Plug one end ofthe AC adapterinto the DC 4 5V jack then plug the otherend into AC wall outlet PRECAUTIONS ON USING THE AC ADAPTER Put in comect pecsforAC adapter Please make sure you purchase the corect AC adapter Use of an incorrect AC adaptor will damage the unit Don t touch the AC adapterwith wet hands Doing so isdangerous as this could result in an electric shock If the adapter plug is insert into the DC J ack of the Player the power supply auto matically switch to the AC DC powerand the batteriessupply willbe disconnected DC OPERATION ALKALINE BATTERY INSTALLATION NOT SUPPLIED Insert two AA batteries not supplied into the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit Be sure to observe the proper polarity CHARGING AND USE OF RECHARGEABLE BATIERIES This unit can fully recharge the specified rechargeable batteries i
2. pla y and start the normal pla y Press the CD Mode button twice more orpressthe stop button Note If you pressthe button during playing it will start the intro pla y afterthe songs finished RANDOM OR SHUFFLE PLAY Plays all the tracks in random order 1 Press the PLAY PAUSE button and wait fora while 2 Press the CD Mode button 4 times during playing 3 The RAND will appear in the display 4 The display will show the first tack the CD player select 5 Press the skip button to skip the next random song 6 To stop the function pressthe CD Mode button once more orpressthe Stop button THE HOLD FUNCTION Itis useful during playing the function will lock the key on the panel to protect the mistake during playing During playing slide the HOLD switch to ON position the HOLD will appear in the display the key on the panel will be locked the panel key is disabled Slide the HOLD switch to OFF position to stop the function E 4 THE ANTI SKIP MEMORY FUNCTION 45SEC The digital anti skip function usessemiconductormemoryto preventthe sound from skipping when the unit issubjected to shocksand vibration during pla y 1 When the ESP button is pressed during play the _ indicator appears in the displa y and the digital anti skip function tums on The digital data equivalent to approximately 3 seconds 45 seconds of music isstored ina read ahead memory buffer before it isdecoded and played The display c
3. the volume control level Weak batteries Batteries are getting weak replace both batteries or use the AC adapter Bass boost is on and music is too loud Lower volume control or slide bass boost switch to off Tracks do not change or set does not play normally Batteries are too weak and the battery symbol will show in display Replace both batteries with fresh alkaline batteries or use a AC Adapter Buttons do not work Electronic or static error caused circuitry to lock Remove batteries and AC adapter Wait a few seconds and re insert Make sure batteries are fresh or adapter has power The HOLD function is on E 7 Slide the HOLD switch to OFF position
4. batteriesas the sketch shown mistakenly inserting even one with improper polarity will cause leakage and the unit will not play propeny 3 When not using the unit foran extended period of time ornot using the batteries fora long time remove them to prevent possible acid leakage or conosion re sulting in damage to your player or personal injury such asskin bums 4 Bear in mind that battery life expectancy is based upon playing mode Maxi mum battery power consumption happens at maximum settings If sound gets distorted orif the unit failsto switch tracks yourbattenesare weak Replace both batteries oruse AC adaptor not included Nevercharge heat disassemble or throw batteriesinto a fire If the display shows the symbol this means your batteries are weak re place them oruse the AC adaptor 7 If the display is blank no numbers show when power is tumed on the batteries are dead Replace them oruse the AC adapter AUTO POWER ON FUNCTION The power tums on automatically when the PLAY PAUSE button is pressed AUTO POWER OFF FUNCTION The power tums off immediately after the disc compartment is opened When all the trackson a disc have been played orthe Stop button is pressed the powertums off automatically within 60 secondsif no button is pressed If you pressed the Stop button twice the power will tum off LISTENING WITH HEADPHONES Connect the plug of the stereo headphone into the headphone jack marked phones be
5. ently playing e Pressthe m4 twice or more to skip to previous tracks FORMARD REVERSE SEARCH Pressand hold the skip gt 4 button during play to scan the disc at high speed When the desired section ofthe disc isfound release the button Normal pla y will resume gt gt forwa rd ma reverse e If you press and hold the skip button gt while playing it will scan the current playing track forward at high speed e If you press and hold the skip button m4 while playing it will scan the current playing track backwardsat high speed BASS BOOST Use the Bass Boost function to increase the bass output when listening with headphones During bass boost on setting some times you may hearsome distortion adjust the volume control to a lowerlevel when using the bass boost feature PROGRAMMED PLAY The tracks on the disc can be programmed for play in any order Up to 24 tracks canbe programmed During programming PROG flashes in the display NOTE Programming is possible in the STOP mode BASS BOOST Program number 1 2 3 Track number 3 5 9 1 Pressthe PROGRAM button in the STOP MODE The PROG appearsin the display 2 Press the skip button 1 m4 to select the first tack to be programmed 3 Press the PROGRAM button again to enter the track into the memory 4 Repeat steps 2 to 3 to program othertrack till you finish E 3 5 After programming is finished pr
6. ess the PLAY PAUSE Button Note Programmed pla y will begins automatically if you program 24 tracks PROG shows steady in the display and programmed pla y begins 6 The player stops automatically after all programmed tracks have been played To play the same program again pressthe PLAY PAUSE Button The programming will be cleared if 1 Open the door 2 Power off 3 Afterrandom play 4 To checkthe program pressthe STOP Button and then the PROGRAM button THE CD MODE BUTION This button can be pressed during pla y to accomplish many different kinds of pla y Once for single track repeat Twice forall tracks repeat 3 times for INTRO play CD Mode button pressed 4 times for RANDOM SHUFFLE play 5 times for retum to normal play SINGLE TRAC K REPEAT Pressthe CD Mode button once during play and the CO willappearin the display The current track willbe played overand over again until Stop button is pressed ALL TRACKS REPEAT CONTINUO US PLAY Pressthe CD Mode button twice during pla y And the CO ALL willappearin the display The alltrackson disc willbe played overand overagain until Stop button ispressed INTRO PLAY Plays the first 10 seconds of all tracks once then stops This is useful if you do not rememberthe song titles 1 Press the CD Mode button till the INTR appear in the display 2 The first 10 seconds of the tracks will be played once then stops 3 To stop the intro
