1. Instructions 1 Shut off power to the circuit at fuse box or circuit breaker Remove wall plate and test to be sure power has been completely disconnected 2 Remove old switch and outlet from wall box and disconnect wires If metal tab between terminal screws was removed from old device remove from new switch 3 Disconnect wires from old device Be sure wires are stripped to 3 4 Form wires 3 4 around terminal screws do not overlap 4 Connect wires to new switch as shown forming wire clockwise 3 4 around screw Tighten screws securely Connect grounding green or bare wire to GREEN screw on new switch and tighten screw 5 Insert newly wired switch into the wall box Fasten with mountin screws provided 6 Attach a standard 2 outlet wall plate Restore power Neutral WHITE Ground GREEN Line E Removable Tab Line B lif tab removed Load
