ID M671111 07 05 2 Read and understand warnings listed below before using this product Failure to follow these warnings may result in serious injury and or property damage Owner must ensure that all players know and follow these rules for safe operation of the system DO NOT HANG on the rim or any part of the system including backboard support braces or net During play especially when performing dunk type activities keep player s face away from the backboard rim and net Serious injury could occur if teeth face come in contact with backboard rim or net Do not slide climb shake or play on base and or pole After assembly is complete fill system completely with water or sand Never leave system in an upright position without filling base with weight as system may tip over causing injuries When adjusting height or moving system keep hands and fingers away from moving paris Do not allow children to move or adjust system During play do not wear jewelry rings watches necklaces etc Objects may entangle in net Surface beneath the base must be smooth and free of gravel or other sharp objects Punctures cause leakage and could cause system to tip over Keep organic material away from pole base Grass litter etc could cause corrosion and or deterioration Check pole system for signs of corrosion rust pitting chipping and repaint with exterior enamel paint If rust has penetrated through the steel an

ATTACH THE BACKBOARD This is what your system will look like when you ve finished this section elevator tubes IDE M671111 07 05 Wrenches 2 1 2 2 9 16 2 3 4 Phillips And Or ibad Screwdriver 2 Socket i Wrenches and Sockets 1 2 9 16 re 3 4 Sawhorse Extension Upper Elevator tube O O Lower Elevator tube 18 as shown 8 and nuts 43 2 O O D 2 5 27 Assemble backboard brackets ID M671111 07 05 19 Attach lower elevator tubes 32 and counter balance springs 33 to backboard support brackets 27 using spacers 26 bolt 29 and nut 81 as shown ID M671111 07 05 20 Install Slam Jam Rim to Backboard Fit rim 34 securely into bracket 48 as shown Allow T bolt 49 to slip through center hole in rim 34 Install reinforcement bracket 50 onto T bolt 49 as shown Install spring 51 onto T bolt 49 as shown Install special nut 52 and washer 1 onto T bolt 49 Tighten nut 52 until flush with end of T bolt 49 21 07 05 ID M671111 Q Attach upper elevator tubes 35 to backboard support brackets 27 using spacers 26 amp 11 bolt 29 and nut 31 as shown ID M671111 07 05 22 Support pole on sawhorse Attach backboard assembly to top pole section

DENTIFICATION STICKER TROUGH ID STICKER RODS SHOWN ARE FOR VISUAL REPRESENTATION OF ALIGNMENT AND ARE NOT SUPPLIED WITH THE HARDWARE WOOD SCRAP NOT SUPPLIED ID M671111 07 05 14 Install bolt 12 through bracket and bottom pole section 6 and secure with nut 10 as shown Nut should be tightened until flush even with locknuts outer edge Install rod 9 through bottom pole section 6 as shown Install large 2 eye bolts 7 onto rod 9 as shown Secure cover to rod 9 using washers 45 nuts 8 and nut covers 13 as shown 15 07 05 ID M671111 Install pole mount bracket 15 and reinforcement bracket 42 with carriage bolts O 16 as shown Tighten flange nuts 14 completely Attach spacers 20 21 to pole mount bracket 15 with bolts 19 washers 17 and nuts 8 as shown IMPORTANT Tighten just until washers 17 stop moving ID M671111 07 05 16 Assemble lanyard 25 to locking pin 24 as shown FIG A Attach covers 22 onto pole mount bracket 15 with carriage bolt 23 and nut 14 as shown Loop end of pin lanyard 25 over carriage bolt 23 as it passes through the pole mount bracket 15 during this assembly Insert handle assembly through pole mount assembly as shown Lock pole assembly in place at the 10 3 05 m mark with pin 24 E 07 05 ID M671111 Identify SECTION B

INSTRUCTIONS A FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE AND WILL VOID WARRANTY Owner must ensure that all players know and follow these rules for safe operation of the system To ensure safety do not attempt to assemble this system without following the instructions carefully Check entire box and inside all packing material for parts and or additional instruction material Before beginning assembly read the instructions and identify parts using the hardware identifier and parts list in this document Proper and complete assembly use and supervision are essential for proper operation and to reduce the risk of accident or injury A high probability of serious injury exists if this system is not installed maintained and operated properly If using a ladder during assembly use extreme caution Two 2 people are recommended for this operation e Check base regularly for leakage Slow leaks could cause system to tip over unexpectedly e Seat the pole sections properly if applicable Failure to do so could allow the pole sections to separate during play and or transport of the system e Climate corrosion or misuse could result in system failure Minimum operational height is 6 6 1 98 m to the bottom of backboard e This equipment is intended for home recreational use only and NOT excessive competitive play Read and understand the warning label affixed to pole Label is show
