1. inch the release clip on the pick up roller and pull the roller from the shaft 3 Slide the new pick up roller onto the shaft until it snaps into place It may be necessary to turn the roller while doing this 4 Replace the paper tray and the toner cartridge2. n Pad Removal amp Replacement 1 Open the manual feed tray front tray and locate the pick up roller If the black plastic envelope feeder access cover is installed remove it by pinching the middle clip and pulling it out of the printer 2 Pinch the clip and remove the pick up roller from the shaft by sliding it towards the right 3 Using a flathead screwdriver gently pry up on the silver edge of the separation pad and remove it 4 Snap the new separation pad into place Again the silver edge faces the front of the printer 5 Slide the new manual feed pick up roller onto the shaft until it snaps into place It may be necessary to turn the roller while doing this 6 Re install the black plastics envelope feeder access cover if it was removed in step 1 and close the manual feed tray Transfer Roller Removal amp Replacement AA 1 Open the top cover and locate the transfer roller a 2 Using a flathead screwdriver or the green plastic loop located on the front inside edge of the upper cover lift the transfer roller shaft between the blue gear and the white plastic bushing 3 Lift and remove the transfer roller from the printer 4 Insert the right side of the new transfer roller first then press down on the left side until it snaps into place 5 Replace the green plastic loop if it was used in step 2 Optional Lower Tray Pick Up Roller Removal amp Replacement arid 1 Separate the optional lower tray from the printer 2 P
