6. nt Always wear eye protection Safety equipment such as dust mask non skid safety shoes hard hat or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries Page 2 c Do not overreach Keep proper footing and balance at all times This enables better control of the assembly tools in unexpected Situations d Dress properly Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry Keep your hair clothing and gloves away from moving parts Loose clothes jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts during assembly Specific Safety Warnings 1 Do not attempt to assemble Canopy when high wind conditions exist as personal injury and or damage to the Canopy may result 2 Verify that Canopy is assembled and firmly secured using T stakes provided on a flat level surface to avoid accidents 3 Do not allow snow to accumulate on the Canopy the Canopy could collapse 4 CAUTION Heavy wet snow or extreme windy conditions could damage the Car Canopy It is recommended that the Tarp be removed under these conditions to prevent damage to the Car Canopy 5 Maintain Canopy with care Keep the Canopy clean dry and free of oil grease liquids and other debris 6 Maintain labels and nameplates on Canopy These carry important safety information If unreadable or missing contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement 7 Donotuse Canopy for any purpose other than for what it was intended Do
7. ssembly at least two people should assemble Car Canopy 1 Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT 1 Connect the assorted Tubes and Swagged Tubes parts 2 3 4 5 Figure A 6 7 3 Way End Pieces part 8 and 4 Way Center Pieces part 9 together as shown in Figure A below The eight Turnbuckles part 11 are used to strengthen the frame assembly Attach the Turnbuckles to the frame assembly and tighten using a pair of pliers See Figure B next page WARNING Do not overtighten the Turnbuckles as bending to the frame assembly will occur Drape the Tarp over the assembled frame and secure the corners of the Tarp onto the frame by inserting the Tarp Ties part 10 through the metal eyelets of the Tarp and around the SKU 92942 For technical questions please call 1 800 444 3353 Page 4 framing Tubes as shown in Figures C Piece When complete do the same and D bottom to the other side See Figure C below 5 Once the corners are fastened attach SO the remaining Tarp Ties through the 7 Insert a Nylon Base part 12 not rest of the metal eyelets and onto the shown onto the bottom of each framing Tubes Vertical Tube 6 Lift one side of the roof and insert 8 Secure the Nylon Bases to the three Vertical Tubes part 1 into the ground using the T Stakes part 13 3 Way End Pieces and 4 Way Center not shown Figure B Tarp Ties 10 CAUTION The Car Canopy must be firmly secured on a flat
