Pump See FIG 2 Verify that the ground screw GS is attached and tightened securely to the air motor Connect the other end of the ground wire S to a true earth ground 2 Ground screw and wire Pump fluid hoses use only electrically conductive fluid hoses Check electrical resistance of hoses If total resistance to ground exceeds 25 megohms replace hose immediately Air compressor follow manufacturer s recommen dations Spray gun ground through connection to a properly grounded fluid hose and pump Fluid supply container follow your local code Object being sprayed follow your local code Solvent pails used when flushing follow your local code Use only metal pails which are conductive placed on a grounded surface Do not place the pail on a nonconductive surface such as paper or card board which interrupts the grounding continuity To maintain grounding continuity when flushing or relieving pressure hold a metal part of the spray gun firmly to the side of a grounded metal pail then trigger the gun 17 Operation Setup 1 18 See FIG 1 Attach end of blue fluid hose M to pump outlet R or filter P outlet Attach one end of the air hose N to gun air regula tor D Attach remaining end of the air hose N to air inlet at base of gun L Attach gun swivel K to gun fluid inlet Attach other end of blue fluid hose M to gun swivel K Clip fluid and air hos
