INSTRUCTIONS P 154 Powerflood Floodlight GE Lighting Solutions READ THOROUGHLY BEFORE INSTALLING A WARNING Risk of electric shock e Turn power off before servicing see instructions AVERTISSEMENT COUPER L ALIMENTATION AVANT L INSTALLATION OU L ENTRETIEN GENERAL This luminaire is designed for outdoor lighting service and should not be used in areas of limited ventilation or in high ambient temperature enclosures Best results will be obtained if installed and maintained according to the following recommendations UNPACKING This luminaire has been properly packed so that no part should have been damaged during transit Inspect to confirm INSTALLATION BOLT A A CAUTION WIRING Make all electrical connections in accordance with the National Electrical Code and any applicable local code requirements Unit will fall if not installed properly e Follow installation instructions Verify that supply voltage is correct by comparing it to nameplate The floodlight is provided with a trunnion bracket which can be mounted directly on flat surfaces or building fronts If unit is designated as multivolt or multiwatt Mounting adaptors are available for installation on poles follow specific instruction cross arms pipes etc The trunnion bracket has a clearance hole for a 3 4 inch bolt used for attachment of such mounting The 1 2 inch holes on either side of the 3 4 inch hole permit ad

4. ditional anchoring if required Tighten side trunnion bolts to 18 22 foot pounds Three conductor No 14 cable with 90 C minimum insulation is recommended for making electrical connections to the P 154 After opening door loosen the 2 screws holding the reflector Remove reflector thus expos ing the terminal board Loosen screw in pressure plate AIMING insert cable through grommet and retighten screw Notice Slightly loosen bolts A two on trunnion tilt that grommet fits cable of approximately 9 16 inch luminaire to desired position and retighten bolts diameter Grommet and pressure plate form a weather proof seal and strain relief To maintain this seal the screw in pressure plate must be retightened whenever the seal is disturbed After connections are made to the terminal board be sure insulating shield is properly placed These instructions do not purport to cover all details or variations in equipment nor to provide for every possible contingency to be met in connection with installation operation or maintenance Should further information be desired or should particular problems arise which are not covered sufficiently for the purchaser s purposes the matter should be referred to GE Lighting Solutions Connect ground lead to the green lead green ground screw on housing or terminal block provided Do not remove insulated connectors from wires not needed for required voltage connection When changing voltage on
