INE Cartridge within six months from its first use We recommend that you take note of the date when the FINE Cartridge is installed to the printer What is Low Ink Warning The low ink warning is that the ink counter counts a remaining level of ink and tells you that FINE Cartridges are running out of ink before printing The ink counter considers as ink is full when new FINE Cartridge is installed and then starts counting a remaining level of ink For this if old FINE Cartridge is installed the message that a remaining level of ink cannot be detected appears When the following message appears on the LCD you should purchase new FINE Cartridge CINK LOW P INK LOW If you install old FINE Cartridge and start printing the following message appears and printing stops CHECK INK U161 U162 Possible causes are as follows e This FINE Cartridge has previously been used e Ink may have run out The function for detecting the remaining ink level will be disabled since the remaining ink level cannot be correctly detected In either case pressing the OK button cancels the error messages and enables continuation of printing However error detection function will be disabled after the error indication is canceled therefore the low ink warning message does not appear later on When you install new FINE Cartridge the low ink warning is enabled automatically 43 Troubleshooting Let s take a look at countermeasures against tr
