2. a Lens clean using a damp cloth Battery I Removal and Disposal _ This product contains two recharge a able and recyclable nickel cadmium batteries bound together in a pack When the battery pack can no anger gt be charged it should be removed and recycled See Removal below The battery pack must not be inciner ated or Se mpes ed See Disposal K R m val Open the unit as destribed in Bulb Replacement on page 7 You will see J a battery removal instruction sheet in the head portion to aid you in remov ing the battery pack To remove the battery pack you will need two com oe mon household tools a p pliers and a J _flat blade screwdriver If the batteries have ioaked protective i gloves should be worn before touch ing the battery pack Insert a flat blade screwdriver into the battery ie and twist counterclockwise z Using pliers remove the silver wire from the battery pack Figure 9 Turn the Light over and shake gently to free the battery pack Using pliers remove the red wire from the battery pack just as you removed the silver v wire cE renee un RS LR IMPORTANT DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THE PLASTIC COVERING gt FROM THE BATTERY PACK DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPLACE THE BATTER IES WITH ANY BATTERIES OTHER THAN THOSE SUPPLIED BY THE MANUFACTURER
