TechnicalBulletin Bulletin No PRO 03 03 Effective Date 8 22 75 Cancels N A Page 1 of 1 Subject USE OF LQ 3 VALVE IN SINGLE CIRCUIT SYSTEMS This is to advise you that the LQ 3 and LQ 3 A s can be used in a single circuit system to replace the LQ 2 Limiting and Quick Release Valve and the Two Way Control Valve only if a relay valve is added to the front axle system If you will note on your SD 67 under General Operations page 3 the delivery port of the LQ 3 or LQ 3 A is to be connected to the relay valve portion of the front axle adaptive braking modulator Again we want to stress Do not substitute the LQ 3 or LQ 3 A for the LQ 2 Limiting and Quick Release Valve and the Two Way Control Valve unless you add a relay valve
