Internet Explorer is preferred Network Management System NMS HP OpenView 6 2 for Windows Optional HP OpenView is not included on the Windows server CD Customer must purchase install and maintain HP OpenView Avaya VisAbility Management Advanced Converged Management Installation and Upgrade Procedures 27 Windows Server Installation Procedure Windows Server Installation Procedure The procedure to install or upgrade the contents of the Windows Server Installation CD is generally the same Recommendation You can install the Windows products on multiple Windows servers We recommend that you install Avaya Directory Enabled Management with the Avaya Terminal Configuration on one Windows server and install the remaining products on a second Windows server This option requires you to complete two installations on the separate servers 1 2 3 Ask all users to log off the system Close all open windows and applications Insert the Avaya VisAbility Management Suite 1 3 Advanced Converged Management Windows Server Installation 1 3 x CD into the CD ROM drive At the CD menu screen select Install Windows Server Products At the Welcome screen read the text and click Next At the Products Install screen select the products and components to install on a specific Windows server Do not select Avaya Directory Enabled Management if you plan to install this product on
