ISION WITH POCKET Note Refer also to the instructions included with the aftermarket radio Cut and remove the top 2 mounting A holes off of the radio housing Note The notch in the housing i HERE TOP LEG ONLY Should be on top Figure A CUT HERE TOP LEG ONLY Slide the included brackets onto the sides of the radio housings pocket from the back of the housing forward Figure B Mount the ISO Brackets to the head unit with the screws supplied with the unit Figure C Slide the head unit into the radio Opening until the side clips engage Figure D Snap the trim plate into the Radio Housing Figure D Continue to final assembly AE ZZ 99 5820 FINAL ASSEMBLY A FINAL ASSEMBLY A Strip wire ends back 1 2 B Twist ends together C Solder D Tape 1 Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter and making the connections as shown Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit 2 Re connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation 3 Reassemble radio and dash assemblies in reverse order of disassembly using the 99 5820 radio housing in place of the factory radio trim panel FINAL WIRING CONNECTIONS Make wiring connections using the EIA color code chart shown below and the instructions included with the head unit Metra recommends making connecti

4. rd airbag switch assembly into the radio housing in the same location as the factory radio trim panel Figure A 2 Clip the cigarette lighter socket into the radio housing in the same loca tion as the factory radio trim panel Figure B 3 Secure the climate control into the radio housing using the factory hardware in the same location as the factory radio trim panel Figure C 4 Attach the 6 U style panel clips to the radio housing in the same location as the factory radio trim panel Figure D Continue to kit assembly KIT REPLACEMENT RADIO TRIM PANEL REAR VIEW KIT REPLACEMENT RADIO TRIM PANEL REAR VIEW TT F Menas 99 5820 KIT ASSEMBLY E N oo DIN RADIO PROVISION WITH POCKET Note Refer also to the instructions included with the aftermarket radio Cut and remove the top 2 mounting holes off of the radio housing a HERE TOP LEG ONLY Note The notch in the housing should be on top Figure A Slide the included brackets onto the sides of the radio housings pocket from the back of the housing forward Figure B Slide the DIN cage into the Radio Housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down Figure C Slide the aftermarket head unit into the cage and secure Figure D Continue to final assembly E f Mam 99 5820 KIT ASSEMBLY E ISO MOUNT RADIO PROV
