NM14 19 amp 28 38 Owner s Manual A7595 0366 Rev C TABLE OF CONTENTS 1 INTRODUCTION 1 2 NM 14 19 BATTERY MODULE DISASSEMBLY 3 NM 14 1919 BATTERY MODULE ASSEMBLY 4 5 NM 28 38 BATTERY DISASSEMBLY 5 6 NM 28 38 BATTERY ASSEMBLY 7 LIMITED WARRANTY INTRODUCTION The CINE VCLX series of batteries are designed and manufactured to the high quality expected from all Anton Bauer batteries Because of the specialized and proprietary circuitry that is used in these batteries the cells inside of any CINE battery must be replaced with an NM14 19 or NM28 38 module The NM14 19 and NM28 38 modules eliminate the need for re celling long waiting periods and unnecessary shipping of the CINE batteries The old battery module is simply removed with a few screws the connectors are unplugged and the new module is inserted Then the old module can simply be recycled The NM14 19 module is the cell replacement module for the CINE VCLX 2 batteries Please follow the instructions in this manual to ensure safe and reliable installation Note the NM14 19 module is not for use with the CINE VCLX and CINE VCLX CA batteries The NM28 38 module is the cell replacement module for the CINE VCLX and CINE VLCX CA batteries As mentioned above please follow the instructions in this manual to ensure safe and reliable installation Note The NM28 38 module cannot be used with the CINE VCLX 2 batter ies If you have any questions or co

STEP 1 Remove the 4 10 screws and 4 10 washers as shown in figure A NOTE Do not remove handle or handle hardware from side plates Figure A STEP 2 Remove the 4 6 32 screws and 4 6 32 washers as shown in figure B Figure B STEP 3 Remove the rubber side plate assembly from the unit as shown in figure C Figure C STEP 4 Remove the 1 6 32 x 5 16 screw from the sheet metal case Slide the battery cell assembly from the electronics assembly as shown in figure D Figure D NM 28 38 BATTERY DISASSEMBLY OF UNIT CONTINUED STEP 5 Remove the rubber band from the coiled harness and disconnect the 2 connectors as shown in figure E NM 28 38 BATTERY RE ASSEMBLY OF UNIT STEP 1 STEP 2 Plug the 2 connectors exiting from the battery cell assembly to the Coil the excess harness and wrap with the rubber band Slide the mating connectors of the electronics assembly as shown in figure F battery cell assembly into the electronics assembly Secure the battery cell assembly with the 1 6 32 x 5 16 screw as shown in figure G Figure G NM 28 38 BATTERY RE ASSEMBLY OF UNIT CONTINUED STEP 3 Install the 4 6 32 x 3 8 washers and screws as shown in figure H Figure H STEP 4 Install 4 10 washers and screws as shown in figure l Figure BATTERY LIMITED WARRANTY 0 12 MONTHS Anton Bauer will repair or replace the product at Anton Bauer s option FREE OF CHARGE
