INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Product Revision Form 7160 0185 Rev A INST 427 Universal Vehicle Base Place the base in the passenger foot well with the square hole pattern closest to the transmission hump and seat Move the base around until the best location is determined Mark the mounting hole locations and note whether it will be necessary to shim any mounting holes with washers to compensate for floor irregularities 2 Drill a 13 32 hole at each mounting location Using care not to damage any equipment below the floor 3 Using customer supplied bolts washers and nuts secure the base to the vehicle floor Do not use lag bolts or sheet metal screws as these can pull out of the floor 4 Attach pole and other mounting equipment as directed Place edge of this section against trransmission hump Wire run hole Six 1 2 diameter mounting holes Base sits flat on floor in passenger side foot well Product Mounting Disclaimer Gamber Johnson is not liable under any theory of contract or tort hw for any loss damage personal injury special incidental or consequential damages for personal injury or other damage of any nature arising directly or indirectly asa result of the improper installation or use of its products in vehicle or any other application In order to safely install and use Gamber Johnson products full consideration of vehicle occupants vehicle systems i e the location of fuel lines brakes
