1. CONNECTION LINK BETWEEN solVUE AND MOBILE PHONE The solVUE will always indicate a connection icon see LCD chart on page 3 whenever it is paired to a mobile phone Your mobile phone will also indicate a connection icon whenever your solVUE is paired If the icon is not present a reconnection can be established by manu ally selecting the solVUE from your mobile phone s Bluetooth menu If your solVUE is set as an authorised Bluetooth device on your mobile phone an automatic reconnection can be established by pressing the solVUE s MFB button once sat 9 gt 00 NOTE The solVUE will be automatically switched Speakerphone off when it is disconnected from a paired device for more than 2 minutes This special feature is incorporated to maximize the solVUE standby talk time To reinstate the connection press the MFB for 3 seconds to power on the solVUE e Once the connection is successful you will hear Phone is ready for use DISCONNECTING solVUE AND MOBILE PHONE Sometimes you need to disconnect your phone from the solVUE For example when you need to connect the solVUE with another Bluetooth enabled mobile phone please follow the steps below to disconnect the solVUE with the pre paired mobile phone 1 Power off the Speakerphone 2 Select Disconnecting on the Bluetooth device list of your mobile phone to remove the connection NOTE e f the connection link is lost the solVUE will automatically power off

End call REJECTING A CALL Press and Hold the MFB button 3 seconds to reject an incoming call and you will hear Reject call successful OPERATION cont d REDIAL LAST OUTGOING CALL vt ang gt 00 m Press the MFB button twice The LCD displays Redial and you will hear Redial The solVUE will Redial dial the last outgoing call MAKING CALLS USING VOICE DIALING Dependent on mobile phone support 1 Press the MFB button once the LCD shows Voice Dial Voice Dial 2 Clearly state the name of the person for the call to be placed anini NOD am TRANSFER CALLS solVUE to Mobile Phone During a call Press the MODE button twice and the call is routed to your mobile phone The LCD shows Transferred to Phone Mobile Phone to solVUE Press the MFB button once and the call is routed back from your mobile phone to the solVUE The LCD shows Transferred to Speakerphone vail NOD aml XO gt 0 m Transferred Transferred to Phone to Speakerphone OPERATION cont d PRIVACY MODE In the midst of a conversation press the MODE button once and the speaker volumes are automatically de z creased to minimal level This allows you to use the Privacy Mode solVUE in the same manner as a handheld phone ait s 0 gt 0 m MUTE amp UN MUTE MICROPHONE Mute During a call press and hold the MODE button for a
4. in 2 minutes e Once the disconnection is successful you will hear Disconnect complete 6 OPERATION AUTOMATIC ON OFF After 2 minutes the solVUE will go into sleep mode if it is not paired with a device The sol VUE can be automatically be turned on when you return to your car by opening the door The solVUE will then reconnect to your device Note 1 Moving the solVUE also turns it on 2 When your solVUE turns on or off you will hear an audio tone 3 When traveling with or transporting the solVUE please press and hold the MFB to power off the speakerphone This will prevent the solVUE from repeatly powering on off during tranport due to motion detection USING THE solVUE MAKING CALLS You can initiate calls from your mobile phone or directly from the solVUE using voice dial commands if this Name Scosche feature is supported by your mobile phone or from the 8003634490 solVUE Phonebook feature Making Calls from your mobile phone Dial directly from mobile phone The call is automatically naniii ro gt 0 m connected to the solVUE ailll s 0 gt 00 om Receiving Calls When your mobile phone rings the solVUE LCD will Calling display the incoming number or name and you will hear Call from Name or Number press the MFB button on the solVUE to answer the call ENDING CALLS When you have finished your call press the MFB button on the receiver to end the call You will hear

9. old the MFB button for 3 seconds You will hear Power OFF and the LCD light indicatior will go off OPERATION PAIRING Pairing is the process of connecting the solVUE with your mobile phone Before using the solVUE with your mobile phone you must pair both devices If you wish to use the solVUE with a different mobile phone you must re initiate the pairing process with your intended mobile phone Automatic Pairing 1 Power on the solVUE The solVUE will automatically connect to the last device If after 5 seconds it can t connect to the last device it will automatically go into pairing mode and announce Pairing phone please put your phone in pairing mode and enter PIN code 0000 To Enter Pairing Mode Manually 1 Make sure the solVUE is turned off Press the MFB button for 6 seconds until the solVUE states Pairing phone please put your phone in pairing mode and enter PIN code 0000 The LCD screen will read Pairing The solVUE is now in pairing mode 2 Turn on your mobile phone and place it within 10 meters of the solVUE 3 Initiate the mobile discovery feature on your mobile phone Refer to your mobile phone s user guide 4 Select CBHSOL5 from the list of devices found on the mobile phone 5 Enter the default pin code 0000 when prompted by your mobile phone system for pin code 6 The LCD will read Paired itll Q gt gt ailll Pairing OPERATION
