Radio controlled LCD temperature wallclock LUNA 3 USER S MANUAL Instructions Thank you for your purchase of this quality radio controlled LCD temperature wall clock The utmost care has gone into the design and manufacture of your clock Please read these instructions and store them in a safe place for future reference Features CET Central European Time or UK Time selectable Receive radio signal German DCF77 Radio Signal strength indicator Large LCD display Displays Hour Minute Seconds Month Date Day of Week Temperature Desktop and wall mountable Summer Time Indicator Foreign Time Indicator 12 Hour or 24 Hour Display Format Selectable Weekday Indication in 5 Languages Temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit selectable AA RO6 1 5V x 2 Battery operation Radio Reception icon Summer Time Indicator A BATTERY INSERTION REPLACEMENT The radio controlled wall clock uses two AA batteries When the display becomes dim the battery replacement is required To install and replace the batteries please follow these steps 1 Open the battery cover on the rear of the case 2 Insert two AA size batteries into the compartment as indicated by the polarity markings 3 Replace the battery compartment cover SELECT THE CORRECT TIME ZONE Make sure to select the slide switch at the rear case to CET or UK before installing the batteries B FUNCTION SWITCH AND KEYS Your radio control w
2. all clock has one slide switch and 4 easy to use function keys at the back of the rear case CET UK SWITCH To select the CET time or UK time MODE gee To set the normal time if it is not received or the time off set foreign time A To increment the hour minute year month date during time setting To increment the hour during the foreign time setting To switch between normal time and foreign time To switch between 12 hour display format and 24 hour display format v To decrement the hour minute year month date during time setting To decrement the hour during the foreign time setting To view and select the language of day of week CIF WAVE To switch the temperature display between Celsius and Fahrenheit To force the clock to receive the radio control signal SETTING THE TIME Once the batteries are installed properly all the displays on the face of the clock will light up The time amp date will be 1 P 1 WED 0 00 if the CET switch is selected or 1 1 M WED am 12 00 if the UK switch is selected The temperature display is in Celsius The clock will receive the radio signal automatically with the radio reception icons flash When the radio signal is strong all the radio reception icons will flash otherwise part of the radio reception icons flash Your radio controlled wall clock will begin to seek the DCF77 time signal automatically When the radio s
3. ception icons will be visible on the display otherwise it will not During the signal reception if part of the radio reception icons turn on or the reception icon does not appear at all and the time is not set please take note of the following We recommend keeping the minimum distance of 3m from any interfering sources like TV s or computer monitors Within concrete rooms basements superstructures office buildings the received signal will be weakened In extreme cases the unit should be placed close to a window and or point the clock face or back towards the DCF 77 transmitter in Frankfurt

5. isplay press and hold the W button for 3 seconds The language of the current weekdays will be displayed in the LCD e g English ENG German GER Italian ITA French FRN Spanish SPN Press the W button for 2 seconds to adjust to the correct language of weekdays TO SET THE FOREIGN TIME The foreign time allows you to adjust the hour in order to show the time in another time zone In normal time display press and hold the A button for3 seconds The clock will switch to foreign time with the F icon turn on Press and hold the A button for 3 seconds in foreign time will switch to normal time with the F icon turn off In foreign time press and hold the MODE button for 3 seconds to set the foreign time with the hour digit flashes Press the A button or the W button to adjust to the correct hour for the time zone Press the MODE button and the foreign time is set If no key is pressed for 30 seconds the clock will revert to foreign time display TEMPERATURE Press the C F button to select the temperature display between Celsius or Fahrenheit RECEIVING THE RADIO CONTROL SIGNAL The radio controlled wall clock will automatically receive the radio signal 8 times per day Also you can have the clock receive the radio signal by pressing and holding the WAVE button for 3 seconds It will take 3 5 minutes to receive the radio signal If the radio signal is received the radio re
