TA QUICKPORT INTERN 4 BAY 6 BAY Short manual Switch off your PC and disconnect the power cord Remove both side panels from your PC case Take the mounting rail s out of the docking station Use the included fine thread screws to attach the HDD s SSD s to the mounting rail s HDD SSD connector pointing backwards Slide the mounting rail s back into the docking station Remove the 5 25 mounting bays front bezel Slide the docking station into the mounting bay Attach the docking station from both sides inside the mounting bay using the included coarse thread screws 9 Connect the docking station s SATA data cables to the respective SATA connectors on the mainboard for further information also refer to your mainboard s manual 10 Connect the power connectors on the docking station s back side to the matching power connectors of your PSU PWNS ONT Note Before using the hard disk drive for the first time it must be properly partitioned and formatted Format the HDD by right clicking COMPUTER and then selecting MANAGE Under Windows 7 select START then right click COMPUTER and then select MANAGE After that select DISK MANAGEMENT Here all formatable HDDs and drives will be clearly displayed Right click the USB HDD and select PARTITION The HDD will probably need to be initialized we suggest using the NTFS data system for Win dows PCs Format the HDD to complete the procedure Make sure to select th
